After having their last three games postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak with the team, the Brooklyn Nets are back in action with most of their team back against the Los Angeles Lakers.

For our game preview, check it out here, but here are three player props from WynnBET Sportsbook that caught my eye.

3 Best Prop Bets for Nets vs. Lakers

  • Blake Griffin OVER 1.5 Three Pointers (-105)
  • Russell Westbrook UNDER 0.5 Three Pointers (+165)
  • Nicolas Claxton OVER 9.5 Points (-108)

Blake Griffin OVER 1.5 Three Pointers (-105)

This is a prop based around opportunity, and Griffin is going to get his fair share of looks from the perimeter.

After being re-inserted into the rotation due to Nets mass influx in players in Health & Safety Protocols. In 3 games with more than 10 minutes he has attempted 19 shots from beyond the arc. Against a Lakers defense that is predominantly playing drop pick-and-roll coverage, expect Griffin to see plenty of looks from the perimeter.

I'm expecting him to get close to five shots from the three-point line, and we only need two to clear this number.

Russell Westbrook UNDER 0.5 Three Pointers (+165)

All Westbrook needs is one three pointer, but this feels like a +EV bet.

Westbrook has hit two three's in his last seven games, which includes 14 attempts. It feels like the former MVP has taken note that his three-point shooting is killing the team and I'll take a stab at this nice payout on his futile shot making.

This is being priced like Westbrook is a sure thing to go over, but I see it more likely Russ stays empty from deep.

Nicolas Claxton OVER 9.5 Points (-108)

Can Claxton be taking the long awaited leap for Brooklyn? His minutes are up of late after missing some time due to a Non-COVID illness, nearly 24 minutes per game over his last three and his last two featured 16 and 17 points.

Claxton is James Harden's favorite lob threat and I'm sure this will be a point of attack against the slow footed big men of the Lakers when it's Claxton's time to work as the roll man. Brooklyn is better suited to field an NBA roster than last week with some guys out of Protocols but this still feels like a low number for Claxton to clear given his recent usage.
