3 Best NBA Prop Bets for Suns vs. Mavericks Game 6 (Devin Booker, Chris Paul and One More Player to Trust)
By Peter Dewey
The Phoenix Suns are just one win away from making it back to the Western Conference Finals for the second consecutive season, but they’ll need to beat the Dallas Mavericks in Dallas to do so.
Dallas won Games 3 and 4 at home, but it was dominated by Phoenix in Game 5. The oddsmakers at WynnBET currently have the Suns as two-point favorites in this game.
This series has been volatile for prop bettors, as the blowout in Game 5 hurt several over bettors and the Suns’ offensive struggles on the road (17 turnovers in both games) also threw prop bettors for a loop.
Despite that, I’m eyeing a trio of props that you should consider in Game 6, with all odds via WynnBET:
Best Prop Bets for Suns vs. Mavericks Game 6
- Devin Booker OVER 27.5 Points (-125)
- Dorian Finney-Smith to Make 3+ 3-Pointers (+115)
- Chris Paul OVER 8.5 Assists (-145)
Devin Booker OVER 27.5 Points (-125)
Devin Booker is the straw that stirs the drink for the Suns, as the team relies heavily on his scoring to keep it afloat in games.
Booker has cleared 27.5 points in two straight games and three of the five games in this series. The volume of shots he’s seeing has also been steady, for the most part. He’s taken 20, 19. 13, 22 and 20 shots over the course of the series, and as long as he pushes that 20 number again I think he will clear this line with ease.
Booker and Luka Doncic have a bit of a rivalry going, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they go shot for shot tonight.
Dorian Finney-Smith to Make 3+ 3-Pointers (+115)
It’s hard not to love what Dorian Finney-Smith brings to the table for the Mavericks. He’s a fantastic defender and has stepped up in a big way shooting the ball in these playoffs.
In 11 playoff games, DFS has totaled three or more 3-pointers six times, and he’s hit at least two treys in all but one game.
The volume is going to be there, as Finney-Smith is taking seven shots from beyond the arc per game in the playoffs and averaging three makes per contest.
As long as the volume is there, he should have a big game in a matchup Dallas simply has to win.
Chris Paul OVER 8.5 Assists (-145)
This has been a weird series for Chris Paul, who struggled with foul trouble in Dallas, but I think he’s gotten back on track as a playmaker.
Paul was well on his way to clearing his assist prop in Game 4, but he ended up fouling out with over eight minutes to play and finished the game with just 23 minutes of action.
Paul rebounded nicely with a 10-assist showing in Game 5, and we can’t forget that he averaged 10.8 assists per game during the regular season.
There is a lot of juice on this prop, but I think CP3 clears it with ease in Game 6.
