3 Best NBA Prop Bets for Warriors vs. Mavericks Game 3 (Fade Kevon Looney, Back Dorian Finney-Smith)
By Peter Dewey
Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are trying to get on the board in the Western Conference Finals when they host the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 on Sunday night.
Golden State orchestrated a massive comeback win in Game 2, and I picked the Warriors to cover as underdogs in my NBA Best Bets column today.
If you’re not sold on a side, you can always bet on some props in this game. Here are three of my favorites via WynnBET Sportsbook:
Best Prop Bets for Warriors vs. Mavericks Game 3
- Dorian Finney-Smith 14+ Points and Rebounds (-110)
- Steph Curry to Hit 4+ 3-Pointers (-130)
- Kevon Looney UNDER 8.5 Rebounds (-115)
Dorian Finney-Smith 14+ Points and Rebounds (-110)
Dorian Finney-Smith had failed to reach this number in four straight games before a 10-point, eight-rebound performance in Game 2 of this series, but I think he is trending up.
DFS has seen his usage drop significantly over the last five games, never taking more than six shots after averaging 10.1 shots per game through his first 10 playoff games.
That’s a bit concerning, but his playoff averages tell a different story. DFS is averaging 11.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in the playoffs, so I think there’s some value at -110 for him to reach the 14 mark tonight.
Steph Curry to Hit 4+ 3-Pointers (-130)
Even with the series shifting back to Dallas, I think it’s still time to back Steph Curry to stay hot from beyond the arc.
Curry has made four or more shots from beyond the arc in six of his 13 playoff games this season, but he’s been consistently hovering around at least three treys per game.
The big thing I love about this prop is the volume, as Curry is taking 10.5 shots from beyond the arc per game and averaging 3.9 made 3-pointers per game. With Dallas trying to hoist as many shots as it can from deep, don’t be shocked if Steph is the great equalizer tonight.
Kevon Looney UNDER 8.5 Rebounds (-115)
I know, I know, Kevon Looney has been COOKING in this series.
Still, he has cleared 8.5 rebounds just three times this postseason, and he is only averaging 6.7 rebounds per game in the playoffs despite grabbing 39 in his last three games.
Oddsmakers have moved this line from 7.5 earlier in the series, and I think this is a spot to sell high on Looney and grab the under.
