3 Best Prop Bets For Chiefs vs. Raiders (Will Patrick Mahomes Explode Again?)
By Peter Dewey
The Kansas City Chiefs are surging in the AFC West, and they are 9.5-point favorites in Week 14 at WynnBET in their matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Another win against a division foe would go a long way for the Chiefs trying to lock up a playoff spot, but with such a big spread, I’m taking a look at some prop bets for this matchup:
3 Best Prop Bets For Chiefs vs. Raiders
- Clyde Edwards-Helaire UNDER 14.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
- Patrick Mahomes OVER 2.5 Touchdown Passes (+130)
- Hunter Renfrow Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+150)
Clyde Edwards-Helaire UNDER 14.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Clyde Edwards-Helaire surpassed this number in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos, catching three passes for 28 yards, but he has only done it twice this season.
Both of those instances came with CEH making three catches, something he hasn’t done in any other game this season. In fact, Edwards-Helaire has only seen three targets in three of his seven games this season.
Darrel Williams is going to eat into some of the pass-catching workload, and I think CEH falls below this number for the sixth time this year in eight games.
Patrick Mahomes OVER 2.5 Touchdown Passes (+130)
Patrick Mahomes has only hit the over on this prop five times this season and once since Week 4. He also has failed to throw a touchdown in his last two games.
But guess what? He’s due, and he’s facing a Raiders team that he torched for five scores in Week 10.
The Raiders have allowed the seventh most passing touchdowns this season, and I think this is the game Mahomes gets back on track at home.
Hunter Renfrow Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+150)
Darren Waller is out once again for the Raiders, and Renfrow has been the most consistent target for Derek Carr on offense this season.
Renfrow has scored four times this season, but his usage as of late is what has me excited in this prop. Renfrow has 19 targets over his last two games, making 17 catches for 236 yards.
He caught a touchdown the last time Las Vegas faced Kansas City, and I think Carr looks his way early and often in this matchup.
