The Phillies were able to hold on to win Game 1 of the NLDS against their NL East rival Atlanta Braves and now hold a distinct advantage in the series with arguably their best pitcher taking the mound on Wednesday afternoon.

Here are three prop bets we are keying in on for the NLDS Game 2 between the Phillies and Braves, especially on both pitching matchups. Check out our full game preview here as well as the weather report for Wednesday's game.

3 Best Prop Bets for Phillies vs. Braves

  • Zack Wheeler OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (+108)
  • Kyle Wright UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (-134)
  • J.T. Realmuto OVER 1.5 Bases (+125)

Zack Wheeler OVER 5.5 Strikeouts (+108)

Wheeler has been limited in his four starts off a month long stint on the injury list, and we have seen nothing but elite form from the Phillies ace, allowing just one earned run.

He has only pitched past the sixth inning once, but his experience against the Braves is leading me to go OVER this number. Wheeler has faced Atlanta three times this season and has gone over this number in each one. He has shown no sign of being effected by the elbow injury and I think we get more than enough work for him to get to six K's .

Kyle Wright UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (-134)

The Braves are going to need to get some length from Wright after Max Fried was chased from the game in the fourth inning on Tuesday, but I'm not sure they will get it. Wright enters Game 2 with an ERA north of 5.00 since the start of September.

He is not known for his strikeout ability already, and I think the Phillies continue to put the bat on the ball and into play. While Brian Snitker would love to get a quality start from his right hander, he ultimately needs to be decisive and this could be a quick outing from Wright, keeping this under the total.

J.T. Realmuto OVER 1.5 Bases (+120)

Realmuto hasn't had the most explosive postseason just yet, two hits in 11 at bats, but he has had success against Wright in the past, taking him deep in two of nine AB's.

Realmuto hits in the heart of the Phillies lineup that is coming off a scorching performance in which they scored seven runs on 12 hits. I expect Realmuto gets more pitches on Wednesday against Wright and potentially a taxed Atlanta bullpen so I'll back him to get 2+ bases.
