Best Prop Bets for Cowboys vs. Patriots

  • Mac Jones OVER 271.5 Passing Yards (-125)
  • Jakobi Meyers OVER 5.5 Receptions (-105)
  • Tony Pollard OVER 41.5 Rushing Yards (-125)

Mac Jones OVER 271.5 Passing Yards (-125)

The Cowboys have played from ahead in most games this season, forcing their opponents to try and keep up, which could be the case once again in Week 6.

The Patriots rushing offense has been awful, so Jones will have plenty of passing attempts in this game.

Although Jones is averaging only 248.6 passing yards per game, the New York Giants combo of Daniel Jones and Mike Glennon recorded a season-low 294 passing yards against Dallas’ defense in Week 5.

Jakobi Meyers OVER 5.5 Receptions (-105)

Meyers leads New England in targets and receptions by a large margin, and should continue to see a large share of targets in this one.

Other comparable slot receivers have done well against the Cowboys’ secondary, with Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Chris Godwin hauling in nine catches in Week 1, Carolina Panthers’ D.J. Moore caught eight passes in Week 4, and New York Giants rookie Kadarius Toney picked up 10 catches last week.

Meyers will get six catches in Week 6.

Tony Pollard OVER 41.5 Rushing Yards (-125)

Pollard is averaging 65 rushing yards per game, and has had at least 10 carries and 60 rushing yards in every game since Week 2.

New England’s defense has allowed 111 rushing yards per game this season, but have faced the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and Houston Texans backfields in the first five games. So, the numbers behind the rushing defense may be artificially low.

Ezekiel Elliott will get a larger share of the work, but the explosive Pollard will surpass his rushing yards prop.
