3 Bold Predictions for Bucks vs. Pistons: Giannis Antetokounmpo Will Thrive Without Khris Middleton
By Peter Dewey
The Milwaukee Bucks will take on the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night, but they will be without Khris Middleton, who was placed in the league’s health and safety protocols today.
WynnBET has the Bucks as 4.5-point road favorites against No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham and company.
Let’s dive into some bold predictions for tonight’s matchup, with all odds via WynnBET.
3 Bold Predictions for Bucks vs. Pistons
- Jerami Grant OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made (+115)
- Grayson Allen OVER 16.5 Points and Assists (+100)
- Giannis Antetokounmpo to Record a Triple-Double (+650)
Jerami Grant OVER 1.5 3-Pointers Made (+115)
Jerami Grant has gotten out to a slow start shooting the ball, and it appears oddsmakers are offering some value on his props because of it.
Grant is hitting just 35.5 percent of his shots and 25.0 percent of his 3-pointers heading into tonight’s contest, but I think there is some value at +115 for him to hit multiple 3s in this one.
The volume has been there for the Pistons forward, as he’s attempted 13 or more shots in every game and five or more 3s in four of his five appearances this season. Grant did make three shots from deep in the season opener, and as long as he gets five-plus looks, I think he can hit two tonight.
Grayson Allen OVER 16.5 Points and Assists (+100)
After picking up six assists in the Bucks’ season opener, Allen has yet to total more than one assist in a game, but with Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton out, he’s going to have to take a bigger role in the offense.
Allen is averaging 13.7 points per game and is fresh off an 18-point outing against the Utah Jazz. The assists would be nice to help this prop, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Allen hits the over on this one with points alone.
Giannis Antetokounmpo to Record a Triple-Double (+650)
We’re getting bold!
With Middleton out, Giannis is going to have to do it all tonight for the Bucks, and I love his odds to pick up a triple-double.
It’s worth a shot, and Giannis is already averaging 27.3 points, 11.1 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game this season. He’s going to have the ball in his hands even more tonight without Middleton, and it’s possible he picks up 10 dimes if the Pistons decide to double him all night and dare another Milwaukee player to beat them.
