Week 5 of the NFL season will start off with a fantastic matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawks are coming off a win against the San Francisco 49ers, while the Rams are trying to recover from a beatdown at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals

This game is crucial to see who can gain ground on the Cardinals and stay firmly in the NFC West race.

Here are some prop bets that I’m looking at for Monday Night Football with all odds via WynnBET:

DK Metcalf UNDER 5.5 receptions (-110)

Metcalf has surpassed this number twice this season, and he’s also hit under twice. If history repeats itself, Jalen Ramsey will be handling a majority of the responsibility when it comes to guarding Metcalf. Ramsey is the best corner in the league and has held Metcalf down multiple times.

In the two years Metcalf has been in the league, he leaves the first matchup of the season with the Rams with two catches. In the second matchup, he gets six. Metcalf takes a while to figure out what to do against the Rams and I expect for the same thing to happen this time around.

Robert Woods UNDER 60.5 yards (-115)

Cooper Kupp has exploded this season with Mattew Stafford as the Rams’ new quarterback, but Robert Woods didn’t get the message he could excel too. Woods has under 60 yards in three of the four games this season. He was able to salvage his day against the Cardinals with a touchdown, but he hasn’t been able to be great this season.

Woods is in line for another underwhelming day. He hasn’t found his groove against the bad teams in the league and although Seattle’s secondary isn’t what it once was, he hasn’t proven he can take advantage of great opportunities.

Tyler Lockett Anytime TD Scorer (+100)

Nobody likes Thursday Night Football more than Tyler Lockett. In his career, Lockett averages 5.2 catches for 69 yards per game on Thursday night. Also in six games, he has four touchdowns. Lockett thrives on Thursday night and with Ramsey set to challenge Metcalf all night, the runway is wide open for Lockett to do his thing.

Lockett hasn’t reached the endzone in two weeks, but at even odds (+100), there is value for Lockett to touch paydirt this week. Los Angeles was just carved up by the Cardinals. If the Rams are still reeling, Lockett will take advantage.
