The Alabama Crimson Tide will begin their tournament run on Friday, hoping to conquer the West region. Alabama is currently on a three-game losing streak. If the Crimson Tide hope to get the job done, they'll have to have a complete-180 over what they've been over the last two weeks.

Let's look at their path to the Final Four.

Alabama will play on Friday, March 18 at 4:15 p.m. EST – which is the second day of the tournament. They are the No. 6 seed in the West Region and will take on the No. 11-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

If Alabama wins, it will play the winner of the No. 3 Texas Tech/No.14 Montana St. in the second round.

Notre Dame vs Alabama Prediction and Pick 

Earlier this week, Joe Summers picked the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to upset the Crimson Tide. 

“Alabama turns the ball over at one of the highest rates in the country and is perhaps the worst three-point shooting team in the tournament. That's not good. Notre Dame can defend the perimeter and don't allow opponents to shoot free throws. The Crimson Tide's offense is pretty much just 3s and free throws, so the Fighting Irish are built to defend them.”

“I'm shocked this line is so high and I think Notre Dame should be favored. They took the best shot Rutgers had and prevailed and should have a more comfortable win against the easiest fade of March Madness.”

While the Crimson Tide have their issues, Notre Dame skated by Rutgers and has to play a very fresh Alabama team. I’m going to trust Alabama’s offense and take them to cover as well.
