Ask the Oddsmakers: Which College Football Moneyline Upsets are Being Bet Most?
The joy you get from betting on an underdog and seeing them win is unlike any other joy. You’re filled with pride (and happiness from your bank account) in what went down.
It's why we share our favorite college football and NFL moneyline upset picks here at BetSided each week!
BetSided spoke with the traders over at WynnBET to see which games are seeing the most underdog bets on the moneyline.
“The popular moneyline upset bets that have come in are on UNLV, Hawaii and Georgia Tech, ” Senior Trader Grant Tucker said.
With that information, let’s take a look at how those games are lining up at WynnBET Sportsbook.
UNLV vs New Mexico Spread, Odds and Over/Under
Spread:
- UNLV: +2.5 (-110)
- New Mexico: -2.5 (-110)
Moneyline:
- UNLV: +110
- New Mexico: -130
Total: 45.0 (Over: -110/Under: -110)
UNLV hasn’t won a game yet this season, but the public thinks this is the week the Rebels break through. UNLV lost 51-20 to Nevada last week, yet is facing a New Mexico team that is 1-3 in the conference. This might be the best chance the Rebels get to get a victory this year.
Hawaii vs San Diego State Spread, Odds and Over/Under
Spread:
- Hawaii: +7.5 (-110)
- San Diego State: -7.5 (-110)
Moneyline:
- Hawaii: +250
- San Diego State: -300
Total: 45.0 (Over: -110/Under: -110)
Hawaii is the second-biggest underdog we have here, and rightfully so. The Rainbow Warriors lost 51-31 against Utah State in their last outing and only have one win in the conference. San Diego State is 3-1 in conference play, but is also coming off a loss. Hawaii may have a leg up as they are 3-1 at home, which is where they will be tomorrow night.
Georgia Tech vs Miami (FL) Spread, Odds and Over/Under
Spread:
- Georgia Tech: +10.0 (-110)
- Miami: -10.0 (-110)
Moneyline:
- Georgia Tech: +310
- Miami: -280
Total: 64.0 (Over: -110/Under: -110)
These two teams are going in the opposite direction right now. The Hurricanes have won two straight while the Yellow Jackets have lost two in a row. Miami is vulnerable though. The Hurricanes are ranked 111th in the country in scoring defense. If Georgia Tech can get rolling early, they could pull off the upset.
