At first you don't succeed in betting on Austin Riley to hit a home run, you try and try again, because he's one of the hottest hitters on the planet available.

That's at least the play for BetSided's Peter Dewey on Monday, after Riley failed to leave the park on Sunday in the Atlanta Braves' 9-1 loss to the L.A. Angels.

For today's 12-game slate, we're spread out with four "Daily Dinger" home run prop bet picks, including two of them featuring the Braves in their NL East road matchup vs. the Philadelphia Phillies.

We combed through multiple sportsbooks to find the best odds available for our favorite home run bets on the board for Monday, July 25.

Best Home Run Picks Today

  • Rougned Odor (+525) - Caesars Sportsbook
  • Austin Riley (+275) - WynnBET Sportsbook
  • William Contreras (+490) - Caesars Sportsbook
  • Alex Bregman (+450) - FanDuel Sportsbook

Rougned Odor (+525) - Baltimore Orioles vs. Tampa Bay Rays

Odor is my favorite bet of the day to go past his total bases prop (OVER 0.5 -145), and with his career history vs. Corey Kluber, why not take a big swing at massive odds to boot?

For his career, Odor is 8 of 18 vs. Kluber with five of this hits going for extra bases (2) or home runs (3). In 1 of 6 at-bats over a decent sample; Odor's clubbed one over the fence.

And now I get to take a swing at those numbers at more than 5/1 odds?

Austin Riley (+275) - Atlanta Braves at Philadelphia Phillies

I won’t stop betting on Austin Riley to hit home runs while he’s on this hot streak.

The Braves face another lefty on Monday, and Riley is slashing an insane .333/.422/.710 this season with eight homers in just 93 at-bats. Ranger Suarez has allowed just nine homers this season, but prior to his last start he had allowed a long ball in three straight games.

Riley is going to come through against a lefty sooner rather than later, and I’m not going to miss it. -- Peter Dewey

William Contreras (+490) - Atlanta Braves at Philadelphia Phillies

Contreras hasn't hit a home run in two weeks, but he's got a favorable matchup with great weather conditions against Ranger Suarez. Suarez's most common pitch is a sinker, which he utilizes just under 50% of the time.

Well, Contreras mashes sinkers. MLB Statcast gives him a run value of eight against the pitch, a top-10 mark in MLB and the best on the Braves. In only seven career at-bats against Suarez, Contreras already has a home run.

With a poor bullpen backing Suarez up, I'm confident in the opportunities Contreras will have to drill a dinger at huge odds. -- Joe Summers

Alex Bregman (+450) - Houston Astros at Oakland Athletics

Remember when Alex Bregman hit 41 home runs in 2019? That was fun.

He hasn't been the same power hitter since, but he can still hit a few dingers. He's racked up 12 this year, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him hit a couple more before the month is over.

Tonight would be a great spot for him to hit another, as the Astros face the lowly Athletics who are opting to start Adam Oller. Oller has been abysmal this season with an 8.56 ERA, but what's even more important, is that he gives up an average of 2.6 home runs per nine innings.

I'll bet on Bregman to go yard today. -- Iain MacMillan
