Daily Dinger: Best Home Run Prop Bet Picks Today (Ride Aaron Judge to Riffle Joe Ryan in New York)
We hit on our biggest home run underdog of the season in "Daily Dinger" picks yesterday, as Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette continued his red-hot pace with his fourth home run in two games Tuesday night in Baltimore against the Orioles.
Meanwhile, we also got another nice victory thanks to Jose Altuve of the Houston Astros connecting against the Texas Rangers at +525 odds.
With an active slate of games this Wednesday, here are our favorite picks for September 7 to leave the yard.

Best Home Run Picks Today
Aaron Judge (+240) - New York Yankees at Tampa Bay Rays
I’m slumping in our Daily Dinger picks, so why not back the best home-run hitter in baseball?
Aaron Judge has 54 homers on the season, and now faces the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday with the New York Yankees needing a sweep to pick up some ground in the AL East.
The Twins have Joe Ryan, who’s allowed 19 homers in 22 starts in 2022, geting the ball in Game 2.
Judge has been red hot for New York, carrying the offense over since Aug. 1 by slashing .317/.470/.721 with 12 homers and 26 runs batted in across 31 games. He’s the ultimate pick to get back on track. – Peter Dewey

Bryce Harper (+450) - Philadelphia Phillies vs. Miami Marlins
Bryce Harper has made his return to the Philadelphia Phillies lineup recently, but he’s yet to hit a home run since returning. It’s time for him to break that streak and hit a dinger, and he has a good opportunity to do it tonight against Trevor Rogers and the Miami Marlins.
Rogers has a 5.57 ERA this season, while giving up 1.2 home runs per nine innings. The Marlins bullpen also gives up an average of 1.0 home runs per nine innings, so there will be opportunities presented for Harper. – Iain MacMillan

Seiya Suzuki (+500) - Chicago Cubs vs. Cincinnati Reds
It's a Mike Minor Day, so for those of us who celebrate, we get on our apps and lock in an opposing batter for a "Daily Dinger!"
The Reds' left-hander, despite two decent outings in his last two games, still allows 2.13 HR/9, and continues to be demolished by right-handed hitters; with a .303 batting average against and a 6.58 Fielding Independent Pitching (FIP).
Suzuki is projected to hit out of the second spot this evening, so he should get at least three chances to clock one out. He's also swinging a hot bat, with a dinger in Tuesday's win over the Reds, and two multi-hit games in his last four.
It's not a +800 hit like last night, but +500 is still pretty good in a plus-plus matchup.

Nolan Arenado (+320) - Washington Nationals vs. St. Louis Cardinals
The Washington Nationals are 40 games under .500 for a reason: the team’s pitching is putrid.
The Nats are going to start opener Cory Abbott while being backed by a porous Nationals bullpen that has allowed the fourth most home runs in the big leagues.
I’ll back Arenado to get out of a .174 slump by going deep against the lowly Nats. – Reed Wallach
Jeremy Peña (+360) – Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers
Peña isn’t considered to be a home run hitter, but we’re going to get a little bold with our dinger pick tonight.
He’s going against Cole Ragans, who’s given up four home runs in his last four games. He got lit up by the Astros for two home runs in his last time out, so I’m expecting to see at least one ball leave the park tonight.
Peña has hit nine of his 16 home runs at home. On top of that, I think he’s due to get his bat going after a lackluster August. – Donnavan Smoot
