For the second straight weekend, I've had the pleasure of going camping. My partner's family has a boat and I tried wakeboarding this time. A few faceplants later, I can say that I'm not the most graceful wakeboarder in the world.

But, there's a valuable lesson in continuing to try. One of these times I'm going to stay up on that thing for longer than two seconds, and one of these days we're going to nail a massive parlay.

I'm hopeful that day is today.

We've got a lovely 15-game MLB slate in store, so let's jump into it. Using odds from WynnBET Sportsbook, here are my favorite MLB parlay picks of the day:

Best MLB Parlay Picks Today

Blue Jays (-180) vs Twins

Kevin Gausman is coming off eight shutout innings against Tampa Bay and gives the Toronto Blue Jays a significant edge over the Minnesota Twins and starter Chris Archer.

He's got a ridiculous 2.02 ERA on the road, while Archer has a 4.14 ERA at home and the Twins have four straight losses behind him. Just look at Archer's MLB Statcast Pitching Profile and tell me you can't imagine Vladimir Guerrero Jr. or George Springer blasting moon shots into another galaxy:

Trust Gausman and the Blue Jays' potent lineup. Roll with Toronto on the road to push Minnesota to 3-13 in its last 16 games at home underdogs.

Giants (-187) vs Athletics

The San Francisco Giants are struggling of late, but this is a great get-right spot with Logan Webb taking on Adrian Martinez of the Oakland Athletics.

Martinez has a 7.03 expected ERA and struggles mightily with command, walking four batters in his last major league start and at least three hitters in three of his last four minor league outings. The Giants' patient lineup averages the third-most walks per game in MLB, so its built to take advantage of Martinez's shortcomings.

Meanwhile, Webb has become one of MLB's most underrated starters. Look for Webb to lead the Giants to a second-straight win.

Braves vs Mets First Five Innings Under 3.5 (-115)

The day's best pitching matchup promises to deliver, with Spencer Strider of the Atlanta Braves waging war with Jacob deGrom of the New York Mets.

Strider is a revelation, striking out over 38% of batters he faces and allowing one run or fewer in six of his last seven starts. He's well on his way to winning NL Rookie of the Year, and I can't wait to place a futures bet on him to rack up Cy Young awards in the future.

But deGrom already has a few of those awards in his trophy case, and he in his first MLB start in over a year, striking out six over five strong innings.

I fell in love with baseball betting by continually picking the first five innings under every time deGrom pitched. With the strikeout prince taking on the strikeout king, there's no chance I'm missing an opportunity to throw it back to the wager that made me an MLB bettor for life.

MLB Parlay for August 7, 2022

The "Get Back on That Board" Parlay (+346)

  • Blue Jays (-180) vs Twins
  • Giants (-187) vs Athletics
  • Braves vs Mets First Five Innings Under 3.5 (-115)

Today will be a magical day. I'll get on that dang wakeboard, and we'll cash a nice parlay.

I love the pitchers we're backing in this slate and think we're getting tremendous value on the three matchups. Be sure to check out the BetSided game previews as you build your own parlay over at WynnBET, though don't forget these bets as you do.

Best of luck - let's get after it, baby!
