Looking to cash in on some longer odds on Wednesday?

Every day at BetSided, one of our editors looks to put together an MLB parlay to bet for that day's action. While parlays aren't going to make you a profitable sports bettor, they can be really fun to root for throughout a day full of baseball.

Here are three picks that I’m looking to parlay on Wednesday, April 20, with all odds via WynnBET Sportsbook:

Best MLB Parlay Picks Today (+302 Odds)

  • New York Yankees-Detroit Tigers First 5 Innings UNDER 4 Runs (-130)
  • St. Louis Cardinals Moneyline (+127)

New York Yankees-Detroit Tigers First 5 Innings UNDER 4 Runs (-130)

These are two of the worst offenses in baseball through the first few weeks of the season, as the New York Yankees are averaging just 3.09 runs per game, but the Detroit Tigers are somehow worse, averaging 3.00 runs per game this season.

Luis Severino was masterful in his last start for the Yankees, allowing just two hits over five innings of work against a vaunted Toronto Blue Jays offense. While Eduardo Rodriguez hasn’t been as good, I don’t trust this New York offense that needed a missed pop up to score two of its four runs on Tuesday.

When he’s healthy, Severino is one of the more dominant pitchers in baseball, and I think he shows that against the Tigers, who have tallied four or fewer hits in three straight full games.

I doubt either of these teams jumps on the board early, so I’ll lay the juice with the first five under.

St. Louis Cardinals Moneyline (+127)

This won’t be an easy matchup for the St. Louis Cardinals, as they are facing Miami Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara (1-0, 3.18 ERA) on Wednesday, but I think they are live to pull off the upset win

The Cardinals are third in baseball in runs per game this season, and they are fourth in OPS at .771. While Alcantara is solid, the Cardinals have gotten two strong games from their starter, Miles Mikolas, to begin the season.

I trust the St. Louis offense more than Miami’s, as Nolan Arenado, Tyler O’Neill and company have come out of the gates strong.
