There's nothing better than getting into work and checking out the MLB schedule for and seeing a plethora of day games. Sure, you have to work, but at least you can bet all day while you're sending those emails!

I'm 0-3 in this column and I'm tired of not hitting massive, unlikely parlays, so I'm going to flip things around a bit today. I'll still have one larger parlay, but I'm going to throw in a few smaller ones as well. It's easier to hit less games than more, you know?

It's time to get some winners. Using the odds from WynnBET, let's check out the best MLB Parlay Picks of the day:

Best MLB Parlay Picks

The Fade Bad Pitchers Parlay (+530)

  • Brewers -1.5 (-125) vs Reds
  • Brewers vs Reds OVER 9.5 (-110)
  • Guardians vs White Sox Over 8.5 (-120)

Brewers -1.5 (-125) / Brewers vs. Reds OVER 9.5 (-110)

Reds' starter Vladimir Gutierrez has an 8.66 ERA and just gave up seven earned runs to the Brewers in his last outing, a 4-18 loss. He's now surrendered 13 runs in his last eight innings and will have Cincinnati's 29th-ranked bullpen to back him up.

The over has hit in nine straight Reds games and is 13-1 over their last 14. It's also 9-2 over Milwaukee's previous 11. Fade Gutierrez and profit, folks.

Guardians vs White Sox Over 8.5 (-120)

Looking at the Guardians and White Sox, we've got a poor pitching matchup as Aaron Civale takes on Vince Velasquez. Civale has surrendered 16 runs over his last 12.2 innings and has a history of poor performance against Chicago:

On the other end, Vince Velasquez has given up just one run in his last two starts but ranks in the ninth percentile in average exit velocity and eighth percentile in expected slugging percentage. Cleveland leads MLB in OPS against right-handed pitchers and should have no problem getting runs on the board.

The Trust Good Pitchers Parlay (+1392)

  • Diamondbacks (-1.5, +185) vs Marlins
  • Diamondbacks vs Marlins Under 8.0 (-110)
  • Rockies vs Giants First Five Under 3.5 (-105)
  • Rockies vs Giants (-1.5, +105)

Diamondbacks vs Marlins Under 8.0 (-110) / Diamondbacks (-1.5, +185) vs Marlins

Merill Kelly has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this year. He has a 1.22 ERA and is coming off an 8.2 inning gem against Colorado. Kelly has given up one or fewer runs in five of his six starts and only one run in his last 15.2 innings.

Sandy Alcantara has been strong for Miami but he's surrendered seven runs in his last two outings. And the Diamondbacks are rolling right now. They're 9-2 over their previous 11 games and have won five straight against the Marlins.

When Arizona is at home, the under is 13-3. I expect that trend to continue behind a dominant performance from Kelly.

Rockies vs Giants (-1.5, +105) / Rockies vs Giants First Five Under 3.5 (-105)

I got into the specifics in my preview of the game here, but both Chad Kuhl and Alex Cobb have been fantastic this year. Kuhl has only allowed five runs in his last 25.1 innings, while Cobb has one of the best pitching profiles in the game:

Cobb's 4.80 ERA has been the result of poor luck, and I think he turns things around against a Rockies team that is 1-8 over their last nine on the road. All eight of those losses came by multiple runs and they're averaging a pathetic 2.33 runs per game in that stretch.

The Giants scratch enough runs across the plate to get the job done, but this will be a low-scoring contest.
