Another day, another huge parlay missing by one game. Each of the last four parlays have missed by just one, and this time it was the Tigers/Rays under that blew it for us.

Some could look at this as an opportunity to bet all of these games individually, but not me. I'm greedy. And we're going to hit one of these bad boys. There's only so many times the sportsbooks can skate by before we take 'em for all they've got.

Today will be that day. We've got 15 games on the slate sprinkled throughout the day, which means there's plenty of value to put together our masterpiece.

I've analyzed the games in depth, and here are today's best MLB parlay picks. Our time is coming, let's get after it:

Best MLB Parlay Picks

Giants -1.5 (-105) vs Rockies

The Giants have won 12 consecutive games against the Rockies and have a large starting pitching advantage with Logan Webb taking on Kyle Freeland. Webb ranks in the 78th percentile in average exit velocity and 82nd in chase rate, and he's thrown a quality start in three of his last four outings. His 2.91 (Fielding Independent Pitching) implies he's been unlucky to amass a 3.48 ERA, so we can expect positive regression moving forward.

Freeland, on the other hand, is in the 26th percentile in average exit velocity and 16th percentile in expected batting average. He just gave up 12 hits and six earned runs to the Royals in his last start. The Giants, who rank ninth in OPS against left-handed pitchers, are much better than Kansas City. Back the Giants to win their 13th straight against Colorado.

Astros -1.5 (+112) vs Red Sox

Houston straight smoked Boston 13-4 last night thanks to five second inning home runs off Nathan Eovaldi. They've got an equally tantalizing matchup against Nick Pivetta today, who ranks in the fourth percentile in average exit velocity and sixth in hard hit percentage. The Astros lead MLB in OPS during May by a healthy margin and should tee off on Pivetta and an exhausted Red Sox bullpen.

Luis Garcia has been sublime for the 'Stros and is well-positioned to earn another win today. He's in the 90th percentile in expected batting average and racked up 18 strikeouts over his last 12 innings. Houston is an obscene 15-1 in their last 16 as a favorite while the Red Sox are 1-6 over their previous seven at home. The Astros should roll.

Marlins -1.5 (+120) vs Nationals

Pablo Lopez has allowed one run over his last 15 innings and has been one of the best pitchers in the sport this year. He tossed six scoreless innings against the Nationals in a win last month and should see similar success here. In his seven starts, he's allowed zero runs four times and one run twice. He's been dominant.

Nationals' starter Josiah Gray has been, um, not quite so dominant. He's in the fourth percentile in barrel percentage and got tagged for four earned runs in five innings against Miami last month. The Marlins are fifth in OPS against right-handed pitchers and should have no problem giving Lopez the run support he needs, which may just be a single run.

Recap

The Wednesday Whammy Parlay (+811)

  • Giants -1.5 (-105) vs Rockies
  • Astros -1.5 (+112) vs Red Sox
  • Marlins -1.5 (+120)

Taking a bit of a different approach today and going with three run lines. I keep missing by one game, so why not reduce the number of games but play run lines to boost the odds? It's easier to be right about three games than four, obviously, so let's go ahead and cash a Wednesday Whammy with three games oozing with value.

Head to WynnBET to get your parlay locked in. Your work day will be much sweeter with all that cash waiting for you, after all.
