OK, this is getting a bit cruel. Three times now we've come within one game of cashing a huge parlay, and this time it was my hometown Kansas City Royals that scored two in the ninth inning to blow my Colorado Rockies pick.

That'll just make today's cash that much sweeter, though. We're oh so close, and I hope you're ready for that first big winner.

We've got an action-packed Monday slate with 12 games to pick from. I've visited the Build-A-Bet workshop and have crafted a marvelous concoction certain to fill our pockets with dollars and hearts with glee.

Using the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook, let's check out the best MLB Parlay Picks today and come out of here with a winner:

Best MLB Parlay Picks

Marlins -1.5 (+115) vs Nationals

The Marlins have been slumping of late, winning only three of their last 14 games, but today is a perfect spot to back them with Sandy Alcantara on the mound against Aaron Sanchez and Washington.

Alcantara is coming off a seven-inning gem against Arizona in which he only allowed two hits and one run. He surrendered just one run in six innings against the Nationals last month and sports an impressive 2.74 ERA.

Sanchez, on the other hand, ranks in the first percentile in average exit velocity and hard hit percentage with a 7.58 ERA. Washington has scored one run or fewer in three of its last four games and should struggle to score against Alcantara.

Cardinals (+102) vs Mets

There are very few opposing pitchers that Miles Mikolas should be an underdog against. Trevor Williams is not one of them. Mikolas has a 1.18 ERA over his last five starts, including a seven-inning shutout against these Mets, and has only allowed more than four hits once in that span.

Williams ranks in the 20th percentile in expected batting average and has a 6.92 ERA over his last three appearances. He'll serve as an opener for a bullpen day and though the Cardinals have a quick turnaround after Sunday Night Baseball, Mikolas should be favored here.

Astros vs Red Sox Under 9.0 (+100)

I'm surprised this total is as high as it is. Jake Odorizzi has allowed just one run in his last three appearances, amassing a 0.52 ERA in the process. And Garrett Whitlock has been fantastic for Boston, compiling a 2.19 ERA while ranking in the 93rd percentile in expected batting average and strikeout percentage.

The under is 18-5-1 in Houston's last 24 games and 14-6-4 in Boston's previous 24. I expect those trends to continue behind an excellent pitching matchup.

Giants -1.5 (+100) vs Rockies

I broke this bet down in detail in my preview, but the Giants are in great shape to crush Colorado today. They've won 10 consecutive games against the Rockies by at least three runs and have a huge pitching advantage in this one.

Alex Wood has a 2.67 ERA in his last five starts against Colorado and the Giants won each contest. Antonio Senzatela has allowed more hits than any other pitcher in baseball and ranks in the fourth percentile in expected ERA and first percentile in expected batting average. San Francisco gets 11 straight on the run line against the Rockies.

Recap

The Plus Money Monday Parlay (+1637)

  • Marlins -1.5 (+115) vs Nationals
  • Cardinals (+102) vs Mets
  • Astros vs Red Sox Under 9.0 (+100)
  • Giants -1.5 (+100) vs Rockies

Boom! Four plus-money bets that combine for a tidy +1637 payout. This is the largest payout I've had on one of these, so it's only fitting this is the one that brings us home.

Feel free to add your own twist to the parlay, but make sure you head to WynnBET to get it locked in. It's a marvelous Monday, indeed!
