Mondays can be brutal, but there's nothing a little parlay action can't fix!

We've got a lovely slate on tap for today and the BetSided team has previews on each matchup. I've poured over our data and am confident this is the day we nail a big one.

Let's jump right in. Using the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook, here are my favorite MLB parlay picks of the day:

Best MLB Parlay Picks Today

Tigers (+120) vs Royals Game 2

I like the value on the Tigers in the second game of a double-header in Kansas City with Alex Faedo taking on Daniel Lynch, behind whom the Royals have lost four of five. Detroit is 7-2 in its last nine as an underdog and rank fifth in OPS against left-handed pitchers over the last three weeks, so I expect the Tigers to score.

I'm not as confident in Kansas City's ability to score though, as the lineup historically struggles against rookies. Detroit is 6-3 in Faedo's last nine outings while the Royals are just 3-4 in their last seven as home favorites.

The Tigers are flying under the radar. At a juicy number like +120, it's our duty to take advantage of the value.

Phillies (-120) vs Cardinals

While Josh Yourish makes a strong case for St. Louis, I'll have to disagree with my colleague and back the Phillies tonight. Aaron Nola is one of the best pitchers in baseball with a 2.81 expected ERA and 2.13 road ERA, so backing him at -120 odds is lovely, indeed.

He's fresh off an All-Star snub and should be fired up to face St. Louis. Nola has thrown at least seven innings in six consecutive starts, so Philadelphia's poor bullpen shouldn't be much of a factor.

Meanwhile, Miles Mikolas' underlying numbers suggest he's been a bit lucky. Thus, we can expect regression. He allowed four runs in just 5.1 innings to the Phillies earlier this month, and the Cardinals have lost three of his last four starts.

Trust the visitors to improve to 13-5 in their last 18 on the road.

Rockies (+137) vs Padres

This is one of my favorite bets of the day. I'll have to once again disagree with a colleague, though this time it's Reed Wallach. San Diego starter Sean Manaea has a 6.60 ERA in his last four starts and issued at least three walks in each of his last three. The Rockies are second in OPS against left-handed pitchers over the last three weeks, so I expect their lineup to find success.

Jose Ureña impressed in his first start for Colorado, holding the Dodgers to one run over 6.2 innings while showcasing increased velocity. San Diego is 26th in OPS against righties this month and scored two or fewer runs in five of their previous six games.

As a cherry on top, the Rockies have five straight wins over the Padres and are 5-1 in their last six as home underdogs. Meanwhile, San Diego is 1-4 in its last five as road favorites and 4-10 in its last 14 games overall.

Take the value on the home underdog as the Padres continue to flounder.

MLB Parlay for July 11, 2022

The "Fix My Monday" Parlay (+836)

  • Tigers (+120) vs Royals Game 2
  • Phillies (-120) vs Cardinals
  • Rockies (+137) vs Padres

Say goodbye to those Monday blues! We've got three matchups with fantastic value and today truly feels like a winner. +836 odds means a $25 bet wins $208.93. For three games I believe in, I can think of worse ways to spend $25.

I encourage you to make your own parlay over at WynnBET with your favorite wagers from the BetSided previews, but these three are calling my name.

Best of luck as always. Let's get after it!
