With plenty of afternoon games going on in the MLB, why don't we parlay some picks?

Every day at BetSided, one of our editors looks to put together an MLB parlay to bet for that day's action. While parlays aren't going to make you a profitable sports bettor, they can be really fun to root for throughout a day full of baseball.

Here are three picks that I’m looking to parlay on Thursday, April 21, with all odds via WynnBET Sportsbook:

Best MLB Parlay Picks Today (+440 Odds)

  • Baltimore Orioles-Oakland Athletics UNDER 7.5 (-110)
  • Seattle Mariners Moneyline (-129)
  • Chicago Cubs Moneyline (-142)

Baltimore Orioles-Oakland Athletics UNDER 7.5 (-110)

This leg is going off the crazy trend that the Baltimore Orioles simply cannot hit an OVER!

The O’s are 0-11-1 on OVERs to start this season, and we’re still get seven and the hook in this matchup.

Baltimore has scored just 24 runs all season long, and it’s going to struggle against Paul Blackburn, who’s allowed just two runs and eight hits over 10 innings this season.

The A’s may have the seventh most runs in MLB, but they are just 22 in OPS. I think we will see a low-scoring game between two subpar teams on Thursday.

Seattle Mariners Moneyline (-129)

The Texas Rangers have been horrible to start this season, as they have a minus-16 run differential and have lost five straight games heading into Thursday’s contest.

Not only that, but the Rangers are the worst team in baseball on the run line so far in 2022, going just 3-8 through their first 11 games. Seattle, on the other hand, has been elite on the run line, going 8-4 through its first 12 games.

The Seattle Mariners’ pitching staff has been impressive this season, allowing just 39 runs through 12 games, and I expect Gonzales to have another solid outing against a struggling Rangers lineup.

Texas is just 19th in baseball in OPS this season, and it has scored three or fewer runs in four straight games.

I’ll back Seattle to grab the win on Thursday.

Chicago Cubs Moneyline (-142)

The Chicago Cubs have been one of the best teams on the run line to start this season, going 8-4, and now they find themselves as favorites against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday.

Bryse Wilson will get the ball for the Pirates, and he’s allowed five runs in 8.1 innings so far this season. Not great.

The Cubs aren’t going to be one of the best teams in baseball this season, but they have come out of the gates strong, ranking third in MLB in OPS.

I think the Cubbies jump on Wilson at home and pick up the win on Thursday.
