Only the Yankees, Angels, White Sox, Blue Jays, Mariners and Reds are off today despite a 13-game slate in the Big Leagues. The Cubs and Brewers play two this Memorial Day at Wrigley Field, with the first game already underway from the Friendly Confines.

Each day, the BetSided team shares their top MLB prop bets of the day in our daily feature; looking to stay above .500 with a few more of our favorites on Monday's all-day slate. For today, our team is targeting three overs in strikeout props belonging to three different starters in the NL West.

Best MLB Prop Bets for Memorial Day, Monday, May 30

  • Logan Webb OVER 4.5 strikeouts (-150)
  • Zac Gallen OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-150)
  • Walker Buehler OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-135)

Logan Webb OVER 4.5 strikeouts (-150) - San Francisco Giants at Philadelphia Phillies

Giants starter Logan Webb is really starting to find his groove on the mound as of late, allowing just five runs over his last 18 innings and striking out six or more batters in four of his last six starts.

On Memorial Day, Webb faces a Philadelphia Phillies team that is prone to the punch out, ranking 24th in MLB with 8.92 strikeouts per game this season.

This prop is heavily juiced to the OVER, but I think it’s the way to go with Webb starting to find his strikeout stuff after a slower start to the season in that department. -- Peter Dewey

Zac Gallen OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-150) - Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Atlanta Braves

Fading the Braves with strikeouts props continues to be my go-to prop bet. Find out whose pitching against them, take the over on their strikeout prop, cash bet. It's really that simple.

The Braves are by far the worst team in the strikeout department in the Majors, striking out on 26.7% of their plate appearances. That's 1.4% worse than the next worst team, the Diamondbacks, at 25.3%.

Gallen has surpassed this number in two of his last four starts, and I expect him to achieve the feat again tonight. -- Iain MacMillan

Walker Buehler OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-135) - Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

As I wrote up earlier in MLB best bets, Buehler can infuriate you as a bettor. His stuff plays, but the strikeouts prop always seem to come up just short.

Today against the Pirates, however, makes for a different case.

Buehler been below this number in his last three games, but this Pirates team is a disaster offensively, leading to what I expect to be one of his better games of the season.

He owns a 25% strikeout rate via MLB Statcast against this current Pirates' lineup, and the Buckos have the fourth-highest strikeout rate in baseball this season. For even more perspective, the Dodgers are a -350 moneyline favorite on the board today and -2.5 on the run line. That's in line with one of the biggest single game favorites of the season.

This is an ideal bounce back spot for Buehler against a flailing Pittsburgh offense to cruise to over 5.5 K's on the night. -- Ben Heisler
