Best MLB Prop Bets Today

  • Brewers Team Total OVER 4.5 Runs (+110)

  • Michael Kopech UNDER 4.5 Ks (+115)
  • Noah Syndergaard UNDER 5.5 strikeouts (-130)

Brewers Team Total OVER 4.5 Runs (+110)

I’m fading the Cincinnati Reds on Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers after Cincy won two of three games against the lowly Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Reds have a team ERA of 6.57 this season, and while they have Luis Castillo on the bump Monday, the team’s bullpen ERA is dead last in the league as well at 4.92.

These teams played last week with the Brewers scoring 6, 18 and 10 runs in the three games, so I love getting some value at +110 for the Reds’ pitching staff to implode once again.

Cincy has allowed five or more runs in 18 of 28 games this season. -- Peter Dewey

Brandon Woodruff OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-125)

Someone slow down the red-hot Reds!

After their first series win of the season against the Pittsburgh Pirates last weekend, the five win "Big Red Machine" welcomes the division leading Brewers to Cincinnati for a three-game series.

Brandon Woodruff returns to the mound for Milwaukee. He gave up three earned runs to the Reds his last time out, he also struck out 12 in just 5.2 innings.

Since striking out only four batters combined in his first two starts, Woodruff has passed this projection in two of his last three games. The only one he came up short was a six-strikeout game on the road vs. Pittsburgh. The Reds have the highest K-rate in baseball and Woodruff nearly doubled it against them in just under six innings. -- Ben Heisler

Michael Kopech UNDER 4.5 Ks (+115)

Michael Kopech has got off to a hot start with his strikeouts. He's averaging 9.0 strikeouts per nine innings, and has surpassed 4.5 strikeouts in three of his five starts this season.

Tonight, he's set to face the Guardians, who have been one of the best teams at not striking out in the Majors. Their second in the Majors in strikeout rate, striking out on only 19.7% of their plate appearances.

At +115 odds, I love them to stay disciplined against Kopech tonight and strikeout fewer than five times. -- Iain MacMillan

Noah Syndergaard UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (-130)

Syndergaard is not the power pitcher with the Mets he once was, posting a K/9 rate of 5.9 this season.

He may have decent numbers this season but 'Thor' may be due for some negative regression by looking at his FIP relative to his ERA; matched up with a Tampa Bay lineup that is middle of the pack in strikeout rate.

If Tampa Bay can knock around Syndergaard, he won't be pitching long enough to get to this number. Even so, the K's haven't been there for the pitcher formerly named after the Greek God for his strength. -- Reed Wallach
