The props keep hitting for the BetSided crew!

Sunday's slate went 2-1, hitting on the OVER for Kyle Wright's strikeout prop vs. the Pirates along with the over on Patrick Sandoval's strikeouts in the Sunday Night Baseball matchup vs. the Mets.

For Monday, we've got four pitchers on the board for our favorite props of the night; going two to the over on strikeouts, as well as two to the under.

Best MLB Prop Bets Record to Date

  • MLB Best Prop Bets Record: 104-88-0

Here are the props our team is checking out for tonight’s slate. Odds are available via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Best MLB Prop Bets Today

  • Ian Anderson UNDER 4.5 strikeouts (-140)
  • Sandy Alcantara OVER 6.5 strikeouts (+115)
  • Cristian Javier OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-125)
  • Mike Minor UNDER 4.5 strikeouts (+110)

Ian Anderson UNDER 4.5 strikeouts (-140) - Atlanta Braves at Washington Nationals

Ian Anderson has surpassed this number in four-straight games, but don't let that fool you. He did it against the Marlins (twice), the Athletics, and the Rockies, who rank 22nd, 25th, and 10th, respectively, in strikeout rate.

Now, Anderson and the Braves will take on the Washington Nationals, who ranked second in Major League Baseball in strikeout rate, striking out on just 19.3% of their plate appearances. He also hasn't shown his best start as of late, allowing at least four earned runs in three of his last four starts.

If he's on a short leash tonight, it will do nothing but help this prop bet hitting. I'll take the UNDER 4.5 strikeouts for Ian Anderson tonight. -- Iain MacMillan

Sandy Alcantara OVER 6.5 strikeouts (+115) - Miami Marlins at Philadelphia Phillies

I'm all over the Cy Young candidate today and I think we see a dominant outing against one of the hottest teams in baseball.

The Phillies strikeout at a top 10 rate and Alcantara has cleared this number in three of his last four outings. In the other one he had six, so I'm going to jump on this plus-money price and count on him to generate swing and misses like he has all season while he pads his résumé.

Cristian Javier OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-125) - Houston Astros vs. Texas rangers

Perhaps this is another devilish trick being dangled in front of me like a Twinkie on a string at the top of the treadmill by oddsmakers, but Cristian Javier's strikeout total of only 5.5 feels like the Hostess with the Mostess of all props tonight.

Over the last week, the Rangers have struck out fourth-most in the majors at 24.5%, and Javier leads all pitchers on the slate with 11.28 strikeouts per nine innings. Conversely, there are three other pitchers with a higher projected total than him, and he's tied with four others at this number.

Even at home, the Rangers don't offer much of a threat in the way of Javier hitting this number tonight. -- Ben Heisler

Mike Minor UNDER 4.5 strikeouts (+110) - Cincinnati Reds at Arizona Diamondbacks

Mike Minor has been awful in his first two starts for the Cincinnati Reds, allowing eight runs on nine hits and five homers in just 8.1 innings of work.

He allowed three runs in 4.1 and struck out just four against the Arizona Diamondbacks last week, and now he will face them again.

Minor has yet to clear this prop, and if he gets beat up again or only lasts into the fifth inning, I think he struggles to clear this line.

Arizona strikes out 9.15 times per game, but I don’t see Minor lasting enough, or missing enough bats to reach the OVER. -- Peter Dewey
