Best MLB Prop Bets Record to Date

  • MLB Best Prop Bets Record: 15-16-0

Here are the plays our team is eyeing for tonight’s slate with all odds via WynnBET:

Best MLB Prop Bets Today

  • Zack Greinke OVER 3.5 Strikeouts (+110)
  • Miguel Cabrera OVER 0.5 Hits (-195)
  • Jarred Kelenic OVER 0.5 Hits (-130)
  • Christian Walker O 1.5 Total Bases (+105)

Zack Greinke OVER 3.5 Strikeouts (+110)

In two starts this season, Greinke only has one strikeout. As you can see, I’m expecting a big day out of Greinke. The reason why is because in the 11 innings he’s pitched, he’s only given up 3 runs. He’s not getting into inescapable jams, so I expect him to get a few Ks tonight. Also, he’s playing against the Minnesota Twins, who strikeout at the eighth highest rate in all of baseball. Greinke will need a big day, but the opponent might chase and help him out with that.  – Donnavan Smoot

Miguel Cabrera OVER 0.5 Hits (-195)

We’re rooting for history today, even juiced at this number!

Miguel Cabrera is just one hit away from 3,000 for his career entering today’s matchup with the New York Yankees, and I think he gets it done.

The Yankees are starting lefty Jordan Montgomery, and Cabrera crushed left-handed pitching, hitting .316 for his career. He’s also been hot at the dish, totaling eight hits over his last five games, hence the juice on this prop.

I don’t mind laying this to root for Cabrera to become the 33rd player in MLB history to pick up 3,000 hits. – Peter Dewey

Jarred Kelenic OVER 0.5 Hits -130

Kelenic struggled early on in the season, but he's going to turn things around sooner rather than later. He's recorded a hit in two of his last three games, including a two hit performance against the Astros on April 17th. It's going to help him tonight that he's facing a Rangers team that gives up the highest opponent batting average so far this season at .288. – Iain MacMillan

Christian Walker O 1.5 Total Bases (+105)

I debated between Walker and Byron Buxton of the Twins for my favorite "Daily Dinger" home run prop pick of the day, but ultimately decided on Buxton with the chance to get an extra AB at the top of the lineup.

However, Walker's value against left-hander Josh Rogers is incredibly enticing. His numbers don't look great (.132 BA, .582 OPS), but if you take a closer look, he's set up for success in this matchup.

Via FantasyLabs, Walker holds an expected slugging percentage (SLG) of .840 vs. fastballs. For perspective, league average is around .435. Rogers throws his fastball in almost half of his pitches, and only sits in the low 90s; giving Walker the perfect opportunity to sit and wait for a perfect pitch to drive out or into the gaps.

He also has crushed left-handed pitching; making him an ideal candidate to cruise past this over. – Ben Heisler
