With just two props yesterday, the team once again had a perfect day. Jordan Lyles just cleared his line, helping Reed Wallach cash on his bet. Then, the Guardians were shutout, leading to Ben Heisler picking up a win. 

Today, the team has two pitching props and a 2-for-1 Matt Carpenter special.

Tony Gonsolin OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-143) – Los Angeles Dodgers vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Gonsolin has cleared this line in three of his last five starts, and has been showing an encouraging trait over his last two starts. He’s starting to go even longer in his starts. Gonsolin has pitched into the seventh inning in the last two starts, giving me hope he will have a long and productive day. Luis Severino OVER 6.5 Strikeouts (+110) – New York Yankees vs. Cincinnati Reds

I'm going to buy low on Severino's strikeout prop on Wednesday. No, he hasn't cleared this mark in his last two starts, but he did the five times prior. He has a favorable matchup against a Reds team that has the second highest strikeout rate in baseball the past two weeks (30.7%), so I'll go with the season long numbers over the recent ones. – Reed Wallach 

Matt Carpenter OVER 0.5 Total Bases (-145) + OVER 0.5 Singles (+150) – New York Yankees vs. Cincinnati Reds

Carpenter and the Yanks face Mike Minor and the Reds tonight, and while most will be tempted to jump all over the Yankees right-handed bats, I'll pivot to the veteran lefty instead.

In 12 career at-bats, Carpenter has seven hits against Minor: four singles, two doubles and a dinger. He's hitting .583 with a .615 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage against him in 13 plate appearances.

I'll put some on both these props with the excellent value returning from the singles bet specifically. While -145 feels somewhat steep, it would be brutal to watch Carpenter lace a double down the right field line, only to watch your OVER 0.5 singles bet not cash. – Ben Heisler
