Indiana Pacers vs. Utah Jazz: Donovan Mitchell OVER 26.5 Points (-115)

Donovan Mitchell has scored 27 or more points in five of his last six games, with the only time he fell below the number coming in Utah’s loss to Orlando.

Mitchell shot just 8-for-24 in that game, and he’s averaging 24.5 shots per game over his last six matchups. The volume is certainly there for Spida, and he’s averaging 25.9 points per game despite shooting just 31.9 percent from beyond the arc this season.

If he gets going from 3, Mitchell will easily hit the over against the Pacers, who rank 23rd in the NBA in defensive rating this season. -- Peter Dewey

Mitchell has gotten off to a slow start shooting the ball this year, shooting 43.0% overall and 31.9% from deep, both of which would be career lows. But at home this year, Mitchell is playing much more like himself, making 46% of his shots (5% more than on the road) and 33.3% from deep (3.3% better than on the road). That might not seem like much, but on the season he's shooting 10.8 3s per game, a career-high. Making 1-2 more shots from deep will be the difference in this prop and I'm going to say he makes them against an Indiana team that gives up 11.8 3s per game. -- Brian Giuffra

Toronto Raptors vs. Philadelphia 76ers: Scottie Barnes OVER 7.5 Rebounds (-110)

I'm on the exact same bet for the second time in a row. I pushed on Scottie Barnes rebound total last night, but WynnBET has pushed it from 7 to 7.5 for tonight's game against the 76ers. I'm back on the Barnes train.

A big reason why I liked the prop last night was that the Celtics were one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, but the 76ers are even worse. They rank second last in the NBA in rebounding percentage, grabbing just 47.8 percent of the rebounds.

With Barnes still averaging 8.5 boards per game, I'm comfortable taking the OVER once again. -- Iain MacMillan

Barnes has had less than seven rebounds in one game that he's played in this season, and has landed on seven exactly three times. He's grabbed more than that six other times. Barnes is a firm part of the rotation, averaging more than 34 minutes per game. While rebounds are a stat littered with variance, the rookie's activity on the floor is notable. I'll take a stab at the nice price on 7.5 and bank on him getting to his season average in a big game against the Sixers on Thursday night. -- Reed Wallach

Toronto Raptors vs. Philadelphia 76ers: Gary Trent UNDER 15.5 PTS (-110)

Trent has really become a go-to defensive player in his second year in Toronto, but it hasn't stopped him from getting a ton of playing time and taking plenty of shots per game.

However, tonight I'll be fading him as the Raptors head to Philadelphia on the second night of a back-to-back with both games on the road. The Sixers rank top nine in defensive field goal percentage and Trent has failed to hit this projection in four of his last six games.

He's also been playing 34-plus minutes per game since the start of November, which has me concerned on the second leg of a back-to-back on the road.

Trent and the Raptors' young core look like a nice piece, but this is not a night to bet on them. -- Ben Heisler
