The Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder will play on NBA TV on Monday night as two of the games’ brightest young stars, Jayson Tatum and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, face off.

If you’re looking to bet on those two exclusively, you’ve come to the right place, as I have a player prop play for both players on Monday night.

First let’s check out the latest odds for this East-West contest:

Thunder vs. Celtics Odds, Spread and Total

If you want a pick on this game, I made one here. Now, let’s get into the real reason why we’re here… to bet some props!

Thunder vs. Celtics Best NBA Prop Bets

  • Jayson Tatum OVER 30.5 Points
  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 26.5 Points
  • Josh Giddey OVER 27.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

Jayson Tatum OVER 30.5 Points

Jayson Tatum has cleared this line in five of his last six games, and he’s facing an OKC team that loves to push the pace (seventh in the NBA) which should lead to a ton of possessions on each side.

The Thunder won on Sunday allowing 135 points, so Boston’s No. 1 offense shouldn’t have a problem getting things done in this matchup.

So far this season, Tatum is taking a career-high 20.8 shots per game. He should see similar usage on Monday, giving him a great chance to clear this line.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander OVER 26.5 Points

SGA has been dominant to start the season, and even though he’s on the second leg of a back-to-back, I think this number is way too low on Monday night.

Gilgeous-Alexander has scored 27 or more points in all but three games this season, and he’s facing a Boston team that doesn’t have its top rim protector in Robert Williams III.

Watching SGA this season, you can see how effortlessly he’s getting to his spots, and he’s shooting an insane 54.3 percent from the field as a result.

Boston actually has a defensive rating in the bottom 10 in the NBA so far this season, so don’t be shocked if SGA puts up another big scoring game on Monday night.

Josh Giddey OVER 27.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists

Has Josh Giddey found his groove?

It appears the second-year wing is back to filling the stat sheet, clearing this line easily in his last three games with 39, 29 and 46 PRA, including a triple-double on Sunday.

The Celtics are just 22nd in the league in defensive rating this season, so Giddey should be able to score fairly easily tonight, and find his teammates as well.

If he continues to push double-digit rebounds every night, clearing this prop should be a breeze.
