The 0-3 Lakers are in Denver tonight to take on the Nuggets, and won’t have Russell Westbrook in the lineup due to a hamstring injury. Los Angeles now gets a chance to see what it looks like without the perceived “problem” on its team.

As for the Nuggets, they hope to bounce back at home after getting blown out by the Portland Trail Blazers in Portland.

My betting pick and prediction for tonight's matchup can be found here, but let’s look to the prop board to find some other values to wager on.

Best Prop Bets For Lakers-Nuggets

  • Nikola Jokic OVER 26.5 Points
  • Lonnie Walker OVER 3.5 Rebounds
  • Patrick Beverley OVER 1.5 Threes

Nikola Jokic OVER 26.5 Points

This isn’t rocket science. We’re going to back the best player on the Nuggets tonight.

Jokic scored 26 and 38 points against the Lakers last season. With him coming off a passive 3-for-4 night, expect Jokic to be more aggressive offensively.

Also, Michael Porter Jr. is out of the lineup tonight – putting more of the scoring load on Jokic.

Lonnie Walker OVER 3.5 Rebounds

Walker cleared this line in his last game and missed it by one in his previous two games. However, Russell Westbrook is out of the lineup today. That means there will be rebounds to grab and Walker’s athleticism can shine on the boards.

As long as he continues to stay active, I like Walker to clear this.

Patrick Beverley OVER 1.5 Threes

This feels nasty to do, but I’m backing a Laker to hit multiple threes tonight. I know they can’t shoot, but it has to get better than what it’s been, right?

Beverley hit at least two threes in 24 of his 58 games last season. He’s going to have a few games where they are falling. The fact he shoots close to five threes a night is enough volume for me to take a chance on this.

Also, the Nuggets are 28th in defense right now. They will allow the Lakers to take all the shots they want, and if they start falling for Bev, they’ll likely be good shots.
