Blazers vs. Lakers: Jusuf Nurkic OVER 10.5 Rebounds (+105)

It would appear that the Los Angeles Lakers will be playing without LeBron James and Anthony Davis, potentially making more room on the floor for Jusuf Nurkic to pick up some boards.

The Lakers are an up-tempo team, leading the NBA in possessions per game, and they have been hovering around the top-five in the league in shots attempted per game all season. With no James or Davis, there should be a lot of chances for Nurkic to pick up boards on errant shots from Russell Westbrook and company.

Nurkic is averaging 11.3 rebounds per game and should have a decent matchup tonight against DeAndre Jordan, who is only averaging 14.2 minutes per contest.

The value of Nurkic’s rebound prop is too good to ignore.

Marvericks vs Celtics: Marcus Smart OVER 12.5 Points (-105)

With Jaylen Brown out, Jayson Tatum is going to be the primary ball handler for the Celtics, but I actually think that Smart is going to be the biggest beneficiary. Smart has been vocal that the two star wings need to share the ball more and I see more shots going his way. He is averaging six three-point attempts per game and can see him clearing this low total with a few shots from deep.

Rockets vs. Nuggets: Michael Porter Jr. UNDER 17.5 Points (-135)

After receiving an enormous contract extension in the offseason, Michael Porter Jr. has failed to live up to it in the early part of this season. Porter Jr. still hasn’t scored 17 points this year and is shooting terribly from the field in the process. The young forward is shooting 36.4% from the field and 21.7% from downtown. It’s happened enough to where I can’t blame it on a matchup or an anomaly. This is who he is until he isn’t. Until he turns it around, I’ll fade him. -- Donnavan Smoot
