Best NBA Prop Bets Today
- Thomas Bryant OVER 6.5 Rebounds (+100)
- Josh Giddey OVER 6.5 Rebounds (-135)
- Domantas Sabonis OVER 18.5 Points (-115)
- Andrew Wiggins OVER 15.5 Points (-115)
Thomas Bryant OVER 6.5 Rebounds (+100)
I'm sticking to my very simple strategy. Betting on the OVER rebounds for a player when his team faces the Detroit Pistons. Detroit, who was already the worst rebounding team in the NBA, has been getting even worse in that category as of late. They're dead last in the NBA in rebounding rate, grabbing just 47.5% of boards, and they've only grabbing 44.9% of boards over their last 3 games. That's abysmal.
Thomas Bryant is just not getting back into the rhythm of things, and we're seeing his minutes slowly increase. He's grabbed at least five rebounds in three straight games, and I think tonight is the perfect matchup for him to go over this number. – Iain MacMillan
Josh Giddey OVER 6.5 Rebounds (-135)
If you’ve been following my picks lately, you know that I’ve been all over Josh Giddey props since Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has ruled out until the All-Star break.
Giddey has been elite on the glass over his last 10 games, recording seven or more boards in nine of those matchups.
The rookie has seen his role expand everywhere, averaging 14.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game while shooting 45.0 percent from the field in his last 10. We’re backing Giddey until he regresses, but that doesn’t look like it’ll come anytime soon. – Peter Dewey
Domantas Sabonis OVER 18.5 Points (-115)
Sabonis eats against the Brooklyn Nets, plain and simple. Over the last three seasons, Sabonis is averaging north of 20 points per game while also putting up nearly double digit rebounds and assists.
The Nets don't have a mobile big man to stick with the bulky big man. Even though the team acquired Andre Drummond in the James Harden blockbuster last week, and he will be making his debut in Brooklyn tonight, Sabonis should have no issues breaking 20 points in a game with a total of 228.5. – Reed Wallach
Andrew Wiggins OVER 15.5 Points (-115)
Much of the talk has been about Klay Thompson's return to the Warriors lineup and rightfully so. He's averaged 20 per game over his last 10 and has made an already difficult Warriors lineup even more potent.
However, it's also softened the betting market on Andrew Wiggins, who despite playing a top 10 defensive rated Clippers team, should still be in line to go over on his total points.
While Wiggins has only hit the over once in his last five games, he's been at 15 in two of the three, sitting right on the edge of passing his number by. He also matches up well vs. a short-handed Clippers team that doesn't have a long, athletic wing to match up with the 6'8, super-athletic Wiggins, especially getting to the basket.
The only time he hasn't seen 32-35 minutes is in blowouts, so with a six-point spread, look for Wiggins to get his scoring going early, with Curry and Poole in tougher matchups on the perimeter. -- Ben Heisler
