Best NBA Prop Bets Today

  • Marcus Morris OVER 16.5 Points (-105)
  • Nikola Jokic OVER 25.5 Points (-125)
  • Patty Mills OVER 14.5 Points (-135)
  • Nikola Jokic OVER 12.5 Rebounds (-120)

Marcus Morris OVER 16.5 Points (-105)

Marcus Morris has had a bad last two games, going a combined 4-for-20. However, I’m going to bet on some positive regression here. Morris is the second leading scorer on the Clippers with Paul George out, so he’s going to get his attempts up. On top of that, the Wizards are 19th in the league over the last 10 games in defensive rating.

He cleared this line three games ago, which gives me a little hope that the slump he’s in will fully end soon. Morris has been inconsistent over the last few games with his 3-point shot. If he can get that going early tonight, he should have no problem clearing this. – Donnavan Smoot

Nikola Jokic OVER 25.5 Points (-125)

Nikola Jokic dominated the Pistons on Sunday, scoring 34 points on 12-of-19 shooting.

He’s cleared this number in three straight games, bouncing back from a five-game stretch where he didn’t clear 25 points.

On the season, Jokic is averaging 26.1 points per game, and the volume is going to be there in every game since Denver relies on him so heavily to win. The Pistons are a poor defensive team (25th in the league), so I think Jokic can dominate their frontcourt again on Tuesday. – Peter Dewey

Patty Mills OVER 14.5 Points (-135)

Old reliable. Patty Mills is still a key cog in the banged up Nets offense and I believe the part time role of Kyrie Irving sets up Mills to thrive at home with a reduced load on a nightly basis. Since getting the night off on Jan. 13, Mills is averaging more than seven 3s attempted per game and more than 15 points over the five-game sample.

Now, he faces a Lakers team that he decimated on Christmas Day, scoring 34 points on eight made 3s. L.A. may get Anthony Davis back, but that's going to lead to more James Harden kick outs with the Lakers rim protection back in tact. I think Mills goes off again, and I’m happy to take his over. – Reed Wallach

Nikola Jokic OVER 12.5 Rebounds (-120)

It's a pretty simple proposal. Target the worst rebounding team in the NBA, and bet on their opponent's best rebounder to go over their total. Am I simplifying this process? Yes. Has it generally worked well for me this season? Yes.

The Pistons are dead last in the NBA in rebounding rate, grabbing just 47.6% of boards. That's what they get for not playing Luka Garza every night. Now they get to face Jokic, who has gone over this number in two of his last four games. We're probably getting a good number on him tonight because he only grabbed nine against the Pistons in the first leg of this home-and-home, but I expect a bounce back tonight considering he's averaging 13.8 boards on the year. – Iain MacMillan
