Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Warriors vs. Magic (Back Andrew Wiggins, Franz Wagner on Thursday)
By Peter Dewey
Two struggling teams, the Golden State Warriors and Orlando Magic face off Thursday night with the Warriors set as major favorites.
The Magic have a bunch of injuries coming into this matchup, but can we trust Golden State after losing three straight games?
Here are the most up-to-date odds for tonight's matchup.
Warriors vs. Magic Odds, Spread and Total
BetSided's Donnavan Smoot already shared his bet for tonight's action here, but if you aren’t sold on betting on a side in this game, here are three prop bets that I’m considering for Thursday night:
Warriors vs. Magic Best NBA Prop Bets Today
- Draymond Green OVER 20.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
- Andrew Wiggins OVER 16.5 Points
- Franz Wagner OVER 3.5 Assists
Draymond Green OVER 20.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists
Draymond Green does it all for the Golden State Warriors, averaging 9.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game this season.
Green’s PRA prop can be volatile since he fails to score much in some games, but when he’s got all facets of his game going, he will easily clear this total. In eight games in the 2022-23 campaign, Green has cleared it in five of those matchups.
Orlando comes into this game banged up, and its bigger lineups should have trouble when the Warriors go small. I think that helps Green thrive, especially in the assist department.
Andrew Wiggins OVER 16.5 Points
Andrew Wiggins is averaging 14.6 field goal attempts per game this season, averaging 17.8 points per game and clearing this total in five of his eight games.
Even when Wiggins missed this line, he took 15, 13 and 17 shots in those games. The one-time All-Star should find success against an Orlando team that is in the middle of the pack in the NBA in defensive rating this season.
Franz Wagner OVER 3.5 Assists
The Magic have been thin at the guard position with Cole Anthony and Markelle Fultz banged up, and even with Jalen Suggs returning last game, Franz Wagner cleared this line in assists easily with seven.
Wagner has taken on much more of a playmaking role, tallying four or more dimes in six of his eight games in the 2022-23 campaign, averaging 4.4 per night.
He should be able to go OVER this line against a Warriors team that has struggled on defense this season.
