There's nothing more fun than cheering for a parlay on an NFL Sunday.

With that being said, we should all recognize that parlays are not long-term winning strategies. But, I still like to place one on NFL Sundays simply for entertainment purposes.

If you're looking for one to lock in, let me help you out. Here is my best NFL Week 1 parlay, with odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Best Parlay for NFL Week 1

Ravens -295 vs. Jets

With the spread in this game hovering around a touchdown, it's a tricky call which team to back. In fact, I'm on the Jets to cover. But, the beauty of parlays, is you can just take a team to win outright and move on with your day.

There'll be some upsets in Week 1, but I can't see the Jets over the Ravens being one of them.

Browns -102 vs. Panthers

This has been one of my best bets all week, and it's going to give our parlay a nice boost. The Browns have one of the best run games and defenses in the NFL. If they can rely on those, they shouldn't have much of an issue with a Panthers team that struggled in 2021. Sure, Baker Mayfield will get the start, but I'm not buying into the "revenge game" narrative.

Dolphins -178 vs. Patriots

With the spread at just over a field goal at 3.5, it's tough to bet against the best coach in NFL history in Bill Belichick. So, I'm just going to forego the spread and take the Dolphins to win outright. They've historically done well against the Patriots at home over recent years, and based on preseason reports, the Patriots have some offensive wrinkles they need to iron out early in the season.

Chargers -180 vs. Raiders

Another field goal spread, let's just take the home team to win outright. The Chargers are re-tooled on defense, and Justin Herbert is primed to make a run at the NFL MVP. Los Angeles has had an entire offseason to think about what happened in Week 18 against Las Vegas, and I expect them to come out firing today.

Buccaneers vs. Cowboys OVER 50.5

My favorite way to top off an NFL Sunday parlay, is to take the OVER in the prime time showdown. The Buccaneers and Cowboys combined for 60 points in Week 1 last year, so let's root for a similar result.

Also, if our parlay makes it to this final leg, we have the option to hedge it and sprinkle some money on the UNDER.

Parlay Odds: +1140

A $10 bet would potentially win you a profit of $112.99.
