Following Tuesday night's 11-game slate in the National Hockey League, we're back down to a 4-game set this Wednesday night, highlighted by a terrific rivalry renewed when the Pittsburgh Penguins face off against the Washington Capitals in a nationally televised game on TNT.
Both teams have struggled through the first month of the season. Pittsburgh finds itself 4-6-2 on the year, sitting in 7th place in the Metropolitan Division. Washington is just above them in sixth place at 6-6-2, but future Hall of Famer Alex Ovechkin is still going strong, becoming the all-time leader in most career goals scored with one NHL team back on November 5.
