Slow and steady wins the race. I had another 2-1 day of No Run First Inning (NRFI) and Yes Run First Inning (YRFI) bets yesterday, but those dollars will build up as long as we keep stacking winning slates!

We've got games spread all throughout the afternoon and evening, which means we can escape the delirium of work to relax with the euphoria of cashing bets.

Using odds from WynnBET Sportsbook, here are my favorite NRFI/YRFI bets of the day:

Best NRFI and YRFI Bets Today

Mariners vs Angels NRFI (-110)

George Kirby is on a heater for the Seattle Mariners. I expect his stellar stretch to continue against a weak Los Angeles Angels lineup that ranks 25th in OPS against right-handed pitchers over the last month.

Basically, what that means is he's dominant right now. Kirby's underlying metrics are strong and he hasn't given up a single home run in the last two months.

I'm impressed with Touki Toussaint's first few starts for the Angels as well. He's striking out batters at a high rate, inducing weak groundballs and displaying the talent that made him a first-round pick back in 2014.

Seattle's lineup is even worse than Los Angeles' right now, ranking 28th in OPS against right-handed pitchers over the last month. Roll with the strong value on the NRFI in this one.

Rays vs Yankees YRFI (-105)

The New York Yankees won't stay this inept offensively forever, and I'm betting they get back on track against Corey Kluber today. Kluber is a disaster right now. He's got a 6.04 ERA since the start of July and surrendered at least one home run in each of his last three outings.

Even if Kluber doesn't give up a bomb to Aaron Judge or one of the other star hitters in the Yankees' lineup, Tampa Bay will have ample opportunity to score on Domingo German too.

German has a 5.40 ERA in the first inning and a 5.23 expected ERA overall, compared to a 4.18 actual ERA.

We don't get odds this short for a YRFI bet in Yankees' games often. I won't miss the chance to take advantage of it.

Diamondbacks vs Giants NRFI (-135)

Two of MLB's worst first inning lineups square off in this one, as the Arizona Diamondbacks score in the opening frame in only 21.82% of their road games while the San Francisco Giants plate an early run in just over 22% of their matchups anywhere.

Carlos Rodon is dominant at home, so this wager primarily comes down to whether you think Zach Davies can stop the Giants. I certainly do.

At these odds, we're getting tremendous value on San Francisco to keep doing what it's been doing all season: flail hopelessly in the first inning.
