As much as I'd love to be like GameStop stock when Reddit investors blasted it to the moon a while back, incremental gains do add up. Thus, I'll take yesterday's 2-1 performance on No Run First Inning (NRFI) and Yes Run First Inning Bets (YRFI). Brick by brick, folks!

That being said, let's skyrocket to the moon with a clean sweep today, shall we? With 15 games on the slate, several marquee pitching matchups and a few clunkers, we've got value all over the place.

Using odds from WynnBET Sportsbook, here are my favorite NRFI/YRFI bets of the day:

Best NRFI and YRFI Bets Today

Padres vs Marlins NRFI (-125)

We've got one of my favorite combinations of factors at play in this matchup, as Edward Cabrera is a dominant monster while the Miami Marlins' lineup is the worst in MLB right now.

Cabrera allowed just three hits and no runs in his last two starts. San Diego scores in the first inning just over 18% of the time on the road, so I think his hot streak continues.

Miami, meanwhile, is the single-worst first inning offense in MLB. The Marlins score an early run in a pathetic 15.52% of their games. It's a disaster. As much as I don't believe in Sean Manaea, I can't deny how punch-less Miami is right now.

Mets vs Braves YRFI (-115)

We cashed on the NRFI in this series yesterday, but it's time to flip gears with Taijuan Walker taking on Charlie Morton.

The Atlanta Braves hammered Walker just 11 days ago, putting up eight runs before Walker could record even four outs. He's got an expected FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching) above 5.08 in four consecutive starts, a mark that would be the second-worst in MLB over the season.

Meanwhile, Morton has a 6.55 ERA in the first inning and gave up five runs to the Mets last month. These lineups clearly enjoy facing these pitchers, so I'm rolling with the YRFI.

Astros vs White Sox NRFI (-155)

An AL Cy Young showdown between Justin Verlander and Dylan Cease? Sign. Me. Up.

With a 0.66 ERA since May 29, Cease is clearly the AL's best pitcher and deserves the Cy Young. Now, he gets the chance to prove it.

Verlander is having a sensational season in his own right and sports a 1.71 ERA in the first inning. As each pitcher aims to make their respective Cy Young cases, we should see an incredible duel.

Honestly, I'm stunned these odds are only -155. I'll happily back the NRFI as Cease and Verlander duke it out for the world to see.
