Yesterday was just the bounce back day we needed. We went 3-1, only missing out on a dominant performance from France. We finished off Group A and Group B yesterday and will get the conclusion of Group E and Group F today.

The top spot is open in both groups and we still have a lot to figure out today. There’s four games on today and BetSided has picks for all of them.

World Cup Standings for Group E and Group F

Group E:

  • Spain (4 points)
  • Japan (3 points)
  • Costa Rica (3 points)
  • Germany (1 point)

Group F:

  • Morocco (4 points)
  • Belgium (3 points)
  • Canada (0 points)

World Cup Betting Record

Belgium vs. Croatia Prediction and Pick

Belgium came into this tournament on the last leg of its Golden Generation. That time is over. The Belgians didn’t play well against Canada and lost to Morocco, so I’m out. Croatia was able to turn the tide quickly in its match against Canada. With their pace and ability to score, I’ll back Croatia to send Belgium packing.

Morocco vs. Canada Odds, Prediction and Pick

I want to give Canada credit. It came out in both games and provided a good showing. As a team, it’s getting closer. The Canadians failed to score in the first game, scored then lost in the second game, and are on the path finishing the evolution of this team against Morocco.

If Canada can play a complete 90 minute game, then it will finally have its first World Cup win.

Spain vs. Japan Odds, Prediction and Pick

Spain is safe, but it also needs to handle business. A loss opens the door to many possibilities, and I know the Spaniards don’t want to worry about that. They will come out strong and put a lot of pressure on a Japan team that couldn’t score on Costa Rica. Expect an early goal from Spain and a lot of cruising from there.

Germany vs. Costa Rica Odds, Prediction and Pick

Germany has to leave it all out on the field and hope that Spain does the same. Luckily for the Germans, they get to play Costa Rica. The Costa Ricans upset Japan, but weren’t able to create a lot of offense throughout the game. They were dominated by a true power in Spain and with its back against the wall, Germany will do the same.
