The Buffalo Bills are set to take on the New England Patriots in NFL Week 16 action, just a few weeks after the Patriots downed in the Bills on Monday Night Football.

Despite losing the first time around, the Bills can take control of the AFC East with a win against the Patriots on Sunday. New England currently holds the lead at 9-5, but Buffalo will leapfrog them if they get the win this weekend, due to having the advantage in the second tiebreaker, which is divisional record.

The Patriots Week 1 loss to the Dolphins will come back to haunt them, if that is how the season plays out.

How to Bet on the Bills Moving Forward

If you think the Bills will beat the Patriots this weekend, you can back them at WynnBET at +110 (bet $100 to profit $110) on the moneyline. While that is certainly an option, I would advise that you look at a different bet instead.

The Bills are also available at +135 (bet $100 to profit $135) to win the AFC East, behind the Patriots at -175. In my opinion, that's the bet to make.

As I mentioned, the Bills would take the lead in the division with two games to go if they down the Patriots on Sunday. Their final two games are against the Falcons (6-8) and the Jets (3-11). Unless you think they'll lose in a massive upset to one of those two teams, the Bills should waltz into the division crown.

Why bet on them at +110 when you can get better value on them at +135?

Meanwhile, the opposite could be said about the Patriots. If you think they're going to beat the Bills this weekend, you should take their moneyline at -130 (bet $130 to profit $100) and not even look at their divisional odds, which are currently set at -175 (bet $175 to profit $100).

It's all about making the most of your money, and taking the Bills to win the AFC East is the smart decision if you think they leave Foxboro with the win in Week 16.
