To those who predicted Kansas City's run of six straight AFC West titles would end, to those who called Justin Herbert the best quarterback in the division, to those WHO SAID THE CHIEFS WOULD MISS THE PLAYOFFS, Patrick Mahomes has something to say:

That's a finger for every touchdown he'd thrown at that point (he'd need his thumb shortly), but it's also a finger for how many years in a row the AFC Championship game has been in Kansas City.

After losing the AFC Championship in front of his home crowd in embarrassing fashion last season, Mahomes is set to light the league on fire. The Patrick Mahomes Revenge Tour is in full force, and you need to bet him to win MVP before it's too late.

Patrick Mahomes NFL MVP Odds

If you snagged Mahomes to win MVP at +800 before Week 1, then you're sitting pretty. Josh Allen was great, sure, but you can't ask for a better showing from the future two-time MVP.

Once the Chiefs take down Justin Herbert and the Chargers tonight on Thursday Night Football, Mahomes' odds will only grow shorter. That's the best part about Kansas City's admittedly-brutal schedule: Mahomes gets to topple fellow MVP candidates every single week.

In the next month alone, Mahomes will face Herbert, Tom Brady, Matt Ryan, Derek Carr, and that Josh Allen guy. If he makes it through that gauntlet unscathed, then the MVP award will be within his grasp.

The narrative writes itself: "Mahomes rises from the ashes like a phoenix, tearing down every worthy challenger even without the aid of his fire-breathing dragon, Tyreek Hill."

It's even better that Kansas City has such a tough early schedule, because Mahomes happens to be quite possibly the greatest September quarterback that's ever lived.

In 14 career September games thus far, Mahomes completed 68.8% of his passes while averaging 328.9 passing yards and 3.3 passing touchdowns per game with a TD percentage (8.8%) that would easily be the best career mark in NFL history. The Chiefs are 12-2 in those contests.

+600 odds for Mahomes to win NFL MVP won't last long. If you don't take advantage of this number now, you'll be stuck lamenting a lost opportunity while the Patrick Mahomes Revenge Tour rages on.
