If you’re looking to bet on the NBA on Monday, there are a ton of things you can look at before wagering on a team.

There are always season-long statistics, recent games, injury reports and more that go into placing a bet. Another aspect of this are betting trends, which can help sway a decision, but shouldn’t be the only thing you use to pick a game.

Here are the top trends for each game on Monday night’s slate:

Orlando Magic vs. Indiana Pacers Odds and Betting Trends

The key betting trends to look at in this game helped me come to the decision to bet the Indiana Pacers as favorites.

Indiana is 5-3 ATS at home in the 2022-23 season while the Orlando Magic are just 2-5-1 ATS on the road.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Odds and Betting Trends

The biggest betting trend in the Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers matchup comes on the Atlanta side.

The Hawks have not covered in 43 straight losses, so bettors shouldn’t even think about betting them to cover as underdogs here.

Instead, you should take Atlanta outright if you want to bet on the team, since it only covers as a dog when it wins outright.

New York Knicks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Odds and Betting Trends

The Knicks are one of the best teams in the NBA in the second leg of a back-to-back since Tom Thibodeau took over as the team's head coach.

New York is a slight underdog against OKC on Monday.

Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls Odds and Betting Trends

There isn’t a huge trend that stands out in this game, but it’s worth noting that Boston is 9-7 against the spread with an average margin of victory of 7.2 points.

The Chicago Bulls are just 4-6-1 against the spread as underdogs this season.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Milwaukee Bucks Odds and Betting Trends

There are competing trends in this matchup, as Portland is one of the best teams in the NBA as an underdog, going 9-2 ATS in 11 games.

However, the Milwaukee Bucks are an impressive 7-2 ATS at Fiserv Forum this season.

Miami Heat vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Odds and Betting Trends

Betting trends won’t matter as much in this game because the Miami Heat are without so many key players (Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and more).

That being said, Miami is just 1-4 ATS as an underdog this season, and is taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second game of a back-to-back.

Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans Odds and Betting Trends

The biggest betting trend here is that the Golden State Warriors are just 1-8 straight up on the road this season, with their first road win coming last night against the Houston Rockets.

Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers Odds and Betting Trends

The Utah Jazz have been dominant as underdogs this season, going 11-2 against the spread. They are also 12-6 straight up and ATS overall this season.
