If you didn’t know already, I love the Texas Longhorns against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday with a chance to introduce themselves to the SEC.

I took Texas covering the 6.5-point spread at WynnBET as my best college football bet this week, and Texas running back Bijan Robinson is a big reason why.

Robinson put up 103 yards in Week 1 against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns, as Texas picked up its first win against a top-25 opponent this season. Robinson’s performance moved him to +2000 to win the Heisman Trophy this season, which is the shortest odds for a non-quarterback at WynnBET

Odds to Win the Heisman Trophy

  • Bryce Young - Alabama: +350
  • Spencer Rattler - Oklahoma: +600
  • Field: +1000
  • Matt Corral - Ole Miss: +1000
  • CJ Stroud - Ohio State: +1200
  • JT Daniels - Georgia: +1500
  • Bijan Robinson - Texas: +2000

Robinson gets a great matchup against Arkansas, who allowed over 192 yards per game on the ground last season. The Razorbacks were just 7-27 over the past three seasons, and they had a scare against Rice in Week 1, as they were trailing 17-7 in the third quarter before finishing with 31 unanswered points to get the win.

The door is open for Robinson to make a move in the Heisman standings since JT Daniels, who is directly ahead of him, may not play in Georgia’s game against UAB on Saturday, which would undoubtedly hurt his Heisman odds.

Daniels struggled in Week 1 against Clemson, even though the Bulldogs picked up a win, and it’s hard to see him maintaining his spot in the odds over Robinson if the Texas running back has a big performance to lead Texas to a 2-0 start today.
