Are the Chicago Bulls... back?

The Bulls are 4-0 since their iconic 72-10 season in 1996-96, and all is well on Madison Street.

Their new core of Zach LaVine, Demar DeRozan, Niokla Vucevic and Lonzo Ball have meshed great, a result largely due to the work of head coach Billy Donovan.

Donovan, who led the Bulls to a 31-41 record last season, is now one of the favorites to win Coach of the Year. Despite leading the Thunder to 55 wins in his first season there, he's never won the award.

The Bulls have great chemistry right now and can propel Donovan to a Coach of the Year award if they continue on this pace. The Bulls still have to battle with the Milwaukee Bucks in the Central Division, but outpacing preseason expectations should be the goal right now.

WynnBET set Chicago’s win total at 42.5 before the season. The Bulls look much better than a .500 win team and are on the perfect path to get over that number.

While the Bulls look good right now, what will really give credence to Donovan’s case is how the Bulls perform over the next 13 games. Chicago will face a team that has made the playoffs last season in 11 of the next 13 games, with the two exceptions being the Golden State Warriors and the Indiana Pacers -- and both of those teams made the play-in tournament.

Donovan has a lot on his plate, but if he can make it through this stretch, he will be able to lead this team through anything.
