It's time to place your bets on the final major golf tournament on the men's schedule, the Open Championship.

The event will tee-off at 1:35 a.m. EST on Thursday morning, so make sure to lock in your bets before you go to sleep tonight. If you want to check out my best bets, you'll find them in my betting preview here.

In this article, I'm going to break down my three favorite prop bets for the tournament. Let's dive into it.

British Open prop bets

  • Sungjae Im to Miss the Cut +170
  • Padraig Harrington Top Senior +150
  • Cameron Smith +110 vs. Jon Rahm

Sungjae Im to miss the cut +170

Sungjae Im has been in poor form lately, to say the least. He has missed the cut in four of his last seven starts, and in the events where he did make the cut he hasn't finished better than T24.

To make things worse for him, he has struggled at the two Opens that he's competed in, missing the cut in 2019 and finishing T81 in 2022. In fact, according to @PGASplits101 on Twitter, he's dead last in the field in performance on links courses compared to non-links courses. That's bad news for Sungjae bettors, and great news for those of us betting on him to miss the cut.

Padraig Harrington top senior +150

Padraig Harrington has been hot lately, and he is deserving of being the odds on favorite amongst all the seniors this week. If there's anyone who can have a Tom Watson moment at The Open, it's Padraig.

He won the DICK's Sporting Goods Open on the Champions Tour last month, finish T27 at the U.S. Open, T18 at the U.S. Senior Open, and a very respectable T42 finish at last week's Scottish Open. He's in great form heading to Royal Liverpool.

Cameron Smith +110 vs. Jon Rahm

Cameron Smith is another golfer who has been in great form lately. He won the latest LIV event, and he's also put up strong performance in the two most recent majors. He finished T9 at the PGA Championship and 4th at the U.S. Open.

Meanwhile, Jon Rahm is coming off a missed cut at the Travelers Championship and hasn't golfed much over the past few months. We have no idea what kind of form he's going to be in this week.

I'll gladly take the defending champ at plus-money in this spot.
