The Browns and Steelers are both on the outside looking in when it comes to the NFL playoffs, but whichever team wins when they meet on Monday Night Football in Week 17, will still have life heading into the final week.

The AFC North matchup will have some extra significance, as all signs point to it being Big Ben's final game at Heinz Field. The two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback is expected to retire at the end of the season.

The Browns opened as 3-point favorites, and that's where the line remains at WynnBET Sportsbook.

Browns vs. Steelers Prediction and Pick

Many people will back the narrative of Mike Tomlin being dominant with the Steelers when set as a home underdog, but I'm going to stick with the Browns in this one. Trends are all fine and dandy, but each game is its own entity and the fact of the matter is that the Browns have the stylistic advantage in this game.

41.93% of their offensive yards gained have come on the ground, and they're averaging 5.1 yards per carry which is the best mark in the NFL. Now, they get to face the league's worst run defense. The Steelers are giving up an average of 4.8 yards per carry, which is last among all teams.

Cleveland faced the second worst run defense in the NFL in Week 16 in the Packers, and torched them for 8.8 yards per carry. I expect a similar result for them this week.

The Chiefs exploited the Steelers offense for being as bad as they truly are. Pittsburgh ranks 28th in yards per play, gaining an average of only 5.0. That's only going to get worse when they go up against the Browns defense which is seventh in the NFL in opponent yards per play.

Pick: Browns -3
