Lamar Jackson would be the NFL’s MVP if the season ended today, and you cannot convince me otherwise.

It is criminal that Jackson is just +1200 at WynnBET to win the league’s MVP award, as the favorites, Kyler Murray and Justin Herbert, are both at +400 heading into Week 6.

Jackson added another signature win to his 2021 season on Monday Night Football in Week 5, posting a Baltimore Ravens’ franchise record 442 passing yards to lead his team to a 31-25 overtime win. The Ravens trailed 22-3 in this game, but Jackson played one of the best second halves of a game you will ever see, orchestrating back-to-back touchdown drives and converting a pair of two-point conversions to force overtime.

There are plenty of arguments for Justin Herbert or Kyler Murray, as they both have signature wins as well and have put up the numbers to back it up.

The difference is, neither of those players lost all three of their team’s top running backs prior to the season. Or or have a league-high 17 players on injured reserve.

Lamar Jackson has all of that, and he’s still beaten the Kansas City Chiefs, just like Herbert did, and put up gaudy numbers while he’s at it. For everyone who questioned if Jackson could be an elite passer in the NFL, he currently has more passing yards than Patrick Mahomes this season.

Jackson put up a stat line in Week 5 that we may never see again, and he’s done all of this with a supporting cast that doesn’t come close to rivaling the ones that Murray, Herbert, Tom Brady, Josh Allen and Mahomes all have.

Last night showed that Jackson is the NFL’s most dynamic weapon, and that he can win a game with his arm or legs, and most of the time he’s going to do it with both.

The Ravens are 4-1 heading into a date with Herbert and the Chargers in Week 6. If Jackson comes away with the win over the Chargers star, it’s going to be even harder to ignore him as an MVP favorite.

At +1200 odds (he was +2000 prior to last night’s game), this may be your last chance to hop on the Jackson bandwagon before it's too late. Don’t miss out.
