Cardinals vs. Lions Updated Odds and Prediction: What Bettors Need to Know

The Cardinals might be down their best receiver but the Lions are bad enough that it shouldn't matter much on Sunday.

The Detroit Lions might have avoided becoming the first 0-17 in NFL history but they are still the worst team in the league. Last week they proved that yet again by getting blown out by the Denver Broncos 38-10 after getting outscored 28-0 in the second half. The Lions struggled on both sides of the ball and all signs point towards them losing out after their lone win.

The Cardinals meanwhile lost the LA Rams in Week 14 but they are still one of the best teams in the NFL and should be no match for the Lions.

The Lions are playing for pride at this point but I don’t think that will be enough here. Let’s review the updated odds for this game, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Cardinals vs. Lions Prediction and Pick

Spreads reaching into the two TD zone in NFL games are something I usually try to avoid but the Lions are bad enough that I can deal with it this weekend. The loss to the Rams didn’t help my confidence but it did knock two points off the spread so I guess it's a net win.

The big news coming out of the Cardinals camp this week is that DeAndre Hopkins will miss at least the rest of the regular season. While this is a significant blow to this offense, there is still enough talent on tap to beat up on Detroit.

This is lining up to be one of the more lopsided matchups of the year and I just think the Cardinals are too good for the Lions to keep a lid on. Not to mention that the Cardinals have something to play for and a reason to win. Meanwhile, the Lions are just waiting for the killing blow for their entire season. This game could be it.

Pick: Arizona Cardinals -12 (-110)
