The Week 10 edition of Sunday Night Football will feature an All-California matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers.

If you're looking for the latest odds for the game, as well as my best bet, check out my betting preview here.

In this article, I'm going to be focusing on my favorite prop bets for the game. Let's dive into them.

Sunday Night Football Best Prop Bets for Chargers vs. 49ers

  • Christian McCaffrey OVER 79.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
  • Gerald Everett OVER 4.5 Receptions (+120)
  • Jimmy Garoppolo UNDER 240.5 Passing Yards (-110)

Christian McCaffrey OVER 79.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers love their new weapon. Christian McCaffrey has made noise for the 49ers since joining the team, most notably in their last game against the Chiefs where he threw, ran, and caught touchdown passes.

Now, CMC has as favorable of a matchup as he'll get all season. He'll face a Chargers defense that ranks dead last in the NFL in opponent yards per carry. Los Angeles is allowing a blistering 5.7 yards per carry, which is abysmal. The 49ers should, and likely will, run the ball as often as possible and McCaffrey will benefit.

Gerald Everett OVER 4.5 Receptions (+120)

Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are once again out for the Chargers, so Justin Herbert has limited weapons to target in the passing games. One of the targets he does still have is tight end, Gerald Everett.

He has caught five receptions in four of his last five games, so getting the OVER 4.5 on his receptions total at plus-money is a must-bet play in this prime time matchup.

Jimmy Garoppolo UNDER 243.5 Passing Yards (-115)

This is not a fade of Jimmy Garoppolo's ability to throw, it's simply a bet on what I believe will be the 49ers game script. It would be silly to try to air it out against the worst running defense in the NFL. If Kyle Shanahan is smart, and I believe he is, he'll run the ball all game and leave Jimmy G to only contribute when he has to.

Also, Garoppolo is averaging 241.6 passing yards per game this season, just below the set total in this matchup.
