Prime time football is built for same game parlays.
We're all going to be sitting down and watching tonight's marquee matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so why not have some fun with a few different bets?
Check out my betting preview here if you want my best bet. Head over to my props article for my three favorite prop bets. I also wrote about three anytime touchdown scorers that you should consider wagering on.
In this article, I'll give you my favorite same game parlay. Let's dive into it.
Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay Picks
- Alternate Chiefs Spread +3.5
- Alternate Total UNDER 50.5
- JuJu Smith-Schuster 40+ Receiving Yards
- Mike Evans 70+ Receiving Yards
- Leonard Fournette Anytime TD
Alternate Chiefs Spread +3.5
After opening as 2.5-point favorites, the line has shifted all the way to the point that the Chiefs are now 1-point underdogs. For the sake of the same game parlay, we're going to buy a couple of points to get it up to 3.5 points. That way, if it's a field goal game either way, this leg of the parlay will cash.
Alternate Total UNDER 50.5
It may seem silly to take the UNDER in a game between two great QBs, but the Buccaneers offense has been atrocious through the first three weeks. They rank 27th in yards per play, meanwhile the two defenses rank inside the top five in opponent yards per play. Let's see if this game can stay at 50 points or fewer.
JuJu Smith-Schuster 40+ Receiving Yards
JuJu Smith-Schuster has established himself as the number one option at wideout for Kansas City. He's totaled eight targets in two of the three weeks so far, and he's surpassed this total in both of those games. He's averaging 59.3 receiving yards per game this season, so I have faith he can get at least 40 against the Bucs tonight.
Mike Evans 70+ Receiving Yards
Mike Evans makes his return to action tonight after missing last week's game against the Packers due to a suspension. He totaled 71 yards on five receptions in Week 1, and 61 yards on three receptions in Week 2 before getting kicked out of the game. He's a deep threat, who only needs a few receptions to surpass 70 yards tonight.
Leonard Fournette Anytime TD
Leonard Fournette has somehow not scored a touchdown yet this season, and I expect that to finally change tonight. He scored eight touchdowns on the ground for the Buccaneers last season, and with Tampa Bay increasing their run play percentage in 2022, he should be receiving even more opportunities this season.
