Chiefs vs. Chargers Best Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks for Sunday Night Football
By Peter Dewey
The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers face off in Week 11 on Sunday Night Football in a primetime rematch from Week 2.
A late Justin Herbert touchdown pass allowed the Chargers to cover in Week 2, but they come into this game as 5.5-point underdogs at home. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are supposed to be back in the lineup for L.A., which should be a huge boost for the passing game.
If you’re looking to cash in on a player to score a touchdown at plus odds in this game, I have three receivers to consider on Sunday night.
Let’s jump into the picks:
Best Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks for Chiefs vs. Chargers
- Mike Williams (+160)
- Keenan Allen (+170)
- Kadarius Toney (+130)
Mike Williams (+160)
Williams may have put together his best game of the season in Week 2 against Kansas City, catching eight passes for 113 yards and a score.
Now with Allen back, Williams should see more one-on-one opportunities against the Chiefs.
I like taking either of these receivers to score, as the Chargers could be playing from behind early in this game. The Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes are a dominant offense, so taking any Chargers pass catcher to find the end zone is worth a shot at plus money.
Keenan Allen (+170)
Since Allen is expected to play this week, taking him to score is a solid bet against Kansas City.
This could be a high-scoring affair, and Herbert finally has his safety blanket in Allen back in the lineup.
Despite playing just the first half in Week 1, Allen caught four passes for 66 yards.
The Chargers are going to need to throw the ball to keep up with Patrick Mahomes and company, so I'll take Allen to find the end zone tonight at better odds than Williams.
Kadarius Toney (+130)
Kadarius Toney made a major impact in his second career game with the Chiefs, catching four passes for 57 yards and a score in Week 10.
Mahomes said after the win that the team plans to give him more chances as the season goes on.
Toney only played 44 percent of the team's snaps last week, but I'd expect that number to jump with JuJu Smith-Schuster and Mecole Hardman both out of the lineup.
If that does happen, Toney should be used even more than the five targets he saw in Week 10. The Chiefs youngster already scored in his second game for the team, and he could be the top WR option in this game for Mahomes. I like him to score at plus money.
