College Football had a shortened 2020 season, but let’s be honest, it just wasn’t the same.

The beauty of college sports is the passion and atmosphere that the fans bring to the games, and now they’re back in a big way. It honestly feels like this is the first true week of college football since the fall of 2019.

Stadiums are packed, the student sections are going ballistic, and I can almost smell the tailgate food through my screen.

Sweating out your long list of college football bets just wasn’t the same without fans next year, and that extra spice of life has been breathed back into the games. It brings a tear to the eyes of all you football fans and bettors out there taking in today’s action.

The best part about it is the games are only getting started. We still have arguably the two best games on tap this afternoon and evening.

Alabama and Miami are about to kick off, with Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide being set as 19.5-point favorites.

Then tonight, we have the game of the day between the Clemson Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs. The winner of the interconference matchup will immediately establish themselves as serious contenders for this year’s National Championship.

Clemson was set as the 3-point favorite for the majority of the week, but we’ve seen some last-minute line movement and now the Tigers are 2.5-point favorites against the visiting Bulldogs. The total for the game is at 51.5.

This might be one of the only days all year where the results of my bets won’t have much of an effect on my mood. Football is back, my friends. Sit back and enjoy it.
