Every Bowl Season, there are certain college football players that decide to skip playing in their respective team’s bowl game in order to stay healthy and prepare for the upcoming NFL draft. 

This year, a few stars have already announced that they will not participate in their college’s bowl game, including potential No. 1 overall pick Kayvon Thibodeaux.

Thibodeau is by far the highest profile player to skip his team’s bowl game, but he certainly won’t be the last. Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett could join Thibodeaux as a potential top-10 pick to skip his team’s game.
